= Assist in testing and implementing Aircraft Information Support Applications from Aircraft/Engine manufacturers with Mercator coordination and ensure timely updates of Revisions and releases.
= Coordinate with vendors / Mercator to report and resolve system errors, prioritising based on functions criticality and operational impact within the contractual resolution time.
= Responsible for Application system Administration and user profile management
= Liaising with Engineering users to develop new functional requirements evaluate impact on user productivity vs costs involved procedural changes and develop user guides.
= Support Engineering Systems in implementation of PC or Client /Server based applications, updating new releases, in-house development of required functionalities and ensure serviceability of computer related equipment/peripherals in EK Engineering.
= Act as a focal point for Engineering and IT for Engineering application support - liaising with system related problems with third party vendors in trouble shooting and bug fixing.
= Analyze user requirements, assessing business impacts and benefits, customizing / re-engineering business processes, additional Hardware /Software requirements and also providing Reports or presentations related to chosen application.
= Training - Evaluate user training needs, develop training material, arrange or provide in-house training. Focal and Trainer for all Digital documents on Engineering server.
Coordination: Coordinating with national recruitment section for timely recruitment of nationals for engineering training
Trainee’s Follow up: Follow up on current national trainees who are undergoing basic engineering training including OJT and HND program
Administration: Corresponding with various areas of EK engineering regarding letters for salary increase, posting and other issues related to Nationals / Expats
Training Performance Management: Preparing and sending training performance
Performance Record Management: Keeping records of training performance appraisal of nationals / expats trainees
Assignment Record Maintenance: Keeping records of trainees’ assignments handed out by relevant instructors
Budget Record Maintenance: Maintaining budget records of national engineering trainees in EK Engineering department during current budget year
System Assurance: Ensuring ETHOS system is up-to-date for the national engineering trainees / expats and to bring discrepancies in notice to engineering training manager
Payroll/ Salary Management: Supervising posting and payroll for any deduction made regarding absences / time lost, stoppage of salary in case of long absence without prior notice, etc.
ID Card Issuance: Issuing and controlling ID cards and airport passes
My previous job was in HSBC Bank in the Credit Card Department as Chargeback Clerk. My responsibilities in this position are to follow all the issues relate to the Credit Card. We were raising all the new disputes to the credit card companies (Visa and MasterCard). We were contacting the card holder to clarify all the matter before proceeding the disputes and take action. We were dealing with the call center to clarity all the transactions that have been made by customers with high amounts to reduce the fraud cases which can be made by the credit card. We were coordinating with the collection department to support them by providing them all the information to collect all the late payment of the credit card. I was training all the new staff that was joining the department. We were trying our best to maintain high standard of customer service.
