Currently handling projects for various reputed organizations as a free lance organizational maturity modelling consultant, designer and implementation specialist in the domain of SOD (Sustainable organizational Development) . And also training Strategic Teams, Program Managers, Project Managers, Project Team Members to calibrate their current practices on International Standards on Project Management, Risk Management, Program Management, and Portfolio Management along with providing guidance to acquire Certifications like PMP, RMP, PMI-SP PgMP, in the First attempt.
My responsibilities included the development and management of the PMO by heading the PMO /Act as External PMO Consultant for Various reputed Organizations. I worked closely with functional managers and professionals to help them provide the best possible deliverables of the programs and projects. In addition, I helped project team members learn to harness their project management skils, processes aligned to International standards.
Specifically, the role had the responsibility and accountability for delivery assurance of assigned programs and projects within a portfolio of capital projects. Ensuring that program/projects are being delivered on schedule, budget and scope while following corporate standards and policies for project delivery and providing project management expertise to the project teams for all lifecycle stages of the projects.
The role involved organizing and leading multi-disciplinary teams to successfully complete strategic business development projects that cross departmental, division and organizational boundaries.
Managing all aspects of all phases of project delivery using a disciplined approach to managing project scope, costs, schedule, resources, quality, risks and stakeholder expectations.
Work with business clients to define projects and create project initiations; assist in the development of business cases.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets.
Monitor and control project scope, schedule, costs and quality.
Organize and provide leadership to cross-functional project teams, identify and negotiate resource requirements.
