Duties:
• Administering & designing LANs, WANs internet/intranet, and voice networks.
• Analysing & developing key components using methodology prescribed techniques.
• Communicating and negotiating with users, specialists, other staff and suppliers.
• Network connectivity troubleshooting, ping, tracert, telnet.
• Responsible for communication protocols, configuration, integration & security.
• Investigating, diagnosing and resolve all network problems.
• Cisco Switch configuration in particular VLAN configuration/troubleshooting.
• Design and configure network devices for systems project
Maintain the computer networks/systems of large organisations - ensuring that they run smoothly and providing technical support and advice to computer users.
Duties:
• Troubleshoot network devices specially CISCO equipments such as switches and routers.
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and more
• Windows Server OS installation
• Troubleshoot network related problems.
• Rack mounting of servers. (HP & DELL)
• Talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of problems
• Configuring Cisco router and switches.
• Provides technical reports after service.
Responsible for entering various data formats into the computer system of a company. Such workers need to be proficient at interpreting complex information.
Duties:
• Organize and provide documents, reports and information to department and external clients in an useful and well-organized manner.
• Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
• Secures information by completing data base backups.
• Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
• Maintain records of software licences.
