Expertly procured plant: design, supply installation, testing and commissioning of 500kV Moro Switching station, 5ookV Dadu substation extension & 500kV transmission line.
Responsibilities: -
•Successfully accomplished assembly, erection, installation of gantries/beams, insulator assemblies, bundle conductors, tubular bus bars, post insulators, shunt reactors, circuit breakers, disconnecting/earthing switch, surge arresters, CT, CVT, line traps, batteries, LT/HT switch-gear panels, protection panels, AC/DC distribution panels, diesel generator set and auxiliary transformers.
•Control work performance & monitor work quality and taking corrective action to solve any problem rapidly.
•Demonstrate strong skills to direct all functions and activities relate with department, including team development, continuous improvement, generating and reviewing comprehensive reports, value addition, and cost reduction.
•Succeed installation of indoor/outdoor earthing, lighting & protection system and assembly, erection and installation of transmission line towers.
•Lead and motivate the electrical design team to ensure projects are designed safely, on time and within budget.
•Direct and coordinate installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
•Pre commissioning testing for shunt reactor’s CTs and Bushings, IR test for Core and clamp and circuit breakers (SF6 gas filling and testing, operation time).
•Fix design and development issues in coordination with supply and design teams and process contractor invoices and ensure compliance to contract specification.
•Oversee RCC/PCC concreting works of control & mechanical service buildings, moving area for shunt reactors, oil and water separation tanks, disposal plumbing stations, cable trenches, equipment’s foundation, RCC roads.
Recognized and installed new hardware/equipment/application, switches and firewall, cabling between switches.
• Initiated adequate systems and internal controls to ensure proper working of hardware in order to meet client's requirement.
• Rendered keen attention to details for installing equipment/application, resolve network layer 2 issues, forward network level 3 issues and other issues to site in charge
• Maintained record of all equipment’s of site, kept log of issues daily, sustained log of complaints registered on service desk, keep record inventory issues to users.
• Identified, assessed and resolved all tasks, including windows platforms, network, support desktops, and server, while maintaining logs of switches and routers.
• Supervised inventory of network hardware, cabling and power diagrams, trace and record power supply mechanism of site equipment
• Facilitated engineering manager/department head to resolve matters of 11KV/0.4KV transformers (2MVA, 1.5MVA, 900KVA), induction motors, circuit breakers, capacitor banks, replacement/installation of power cables.
• Handled electrical load as per requirement and examination of electrical consumption & consumed demand.
• Implemented regularly scheduled testing, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of electrical.
• Developed integration plans for electronic systems, electronic component validation and specifications as well as maintained the daily power consumption report.
