Prepare draft plan or proposal for research and development and submit to superior for review.
Initiate, design and undertake project/research pertaining to development of new product or mofification of existing products/processes, etc.
Participate in trial production and review, evaluate and consolidate information after trial test and draw recommendations for further improvement. Present report to the superior with recommendation for approval.
Initiate research and development programs and conduct of experiments to improve and develop new/ existing technique / processing methods / formulations / cost reduction.
Prepare Research and Development test reports and design proposals for management review.
Incorporate any suggestions / issues in the reports / research identified by the superior.
Supervise and monitor Research and Development staff in the areas of ingredients sourcing, suppliers sourcing, clerical and documentation support, product specifications setting and experimental trials setting.
Coordinate with the stakeholders and other department members for obtaining information, preparing reports / proposals, etc. for submission to the superior for approval.
Participate regularly in Research and Development meetings and present suggestions, if any.
Update continuously on new research conducted in other parts of the world or industries and apprise the superior as and when required.
Maintain records of Research for timely retrieval.
Perform deep analysis and research for new ingredients and effective substitute for existing ingredients by browsing and finally locate the cheap and quality source for that researched ingredients.
Marketing of researched ingredients and raw materials in-front of all relevant customers.
Solving the raised queries of our customers related to the ingredients used in their products by the assistance of our manufacturer and through own lab analysis.
Performing the Quality Inspection of our ex-stock ingredients.
Bench top/ Pilot Plant development/ formulation of food Additives Blends.
Ingredient sourcing & specification development of the new products developed.
Product Testing- Physical, Chemical, Analytical & Shelf life testing of food Additives.
Sensory Evaluation of Food Additives.
Attending Business Development meetings with our existing customer and new customers all over Pakistan.
Accomplished one month assignment in TSB Bar and Kamameshi Restaurant one of the fine dine Japanese restaurant in Pakistan.
I gave training and awareness to their chef about the Hazards and its precautions.
