Goals of position:
1. Contribute to the integrity of company purchases through verification and maintenance of all required purchasing documents; \{contracts, vendor set up, etc.\}
2. Ensure that purchased materials are utilized properly through effective communication regarding inventory items;
3. Maintain the database such that all users are informed of item status and reporting tools can be used at maximum utility; \{inventory trace, adjustments, ongoing maintenance\}
4. Expand band width of Purchasing Team through added vendor vetting and obtaining samples as directed;
Duties:
5. Analyze stock levels in the stores and replenish by creating Purchase Orders to avoid out of stock situation;
6. Update Purchase Orders with current delivery information;
7. Resolve receiving error issues in database to avoid duplication of Purchase Orders;
8. Perform item master maintenance transaction in all appropriate databases and systems;
9. Coordinate Product Change Notification Process;
10. Develop relationships with suppliers to resolve delivery and quality concerns
11. Maintain P&L for the Retail Dept.
12. Provide non-inventory purchasing support including following established guidelines and procedures for non-inventory purchases and maintain preferred vendor list;
• Manage a Supply Chain model of $67.5 Million (Retail Price) worth of goods
• Decide Buys through Host Brand (DKNY) range, Annual buying worth of $25.6 Million
• Decide the OTB plan, markup plan, Promotional Strategy and Clearance Strategy
• Analyze Business performance and forecast weekly stock requirements
• Optimum space management (store and warehouse)
• Maintain Stock level for future requirements
• Shipment Tracking and Custom clearance
• Participate in Business Planning for following year and P&L plans
• Extensive experience in forecasting yearly inbound and outbound in warehouse and store
• End to End supply chain
• Extensive knowledge of coordinating all of the entities involved in a supply chain
• Knowledge of managing returns and rejections professionally & promptly with suppliers
• Extensive experience in the strategic planning and transportation of products
• Planning of procurement, production, inventory control, logistics and distribution
• Decide buys through host brand range reviews.
• Forecasting of sales, margin and inventory.
• Recommend retail pricing levels, decide sale lines and mark down percentage strategy.
• Execute store requests and fix issues faced by stores.
• Analyze business performance and attend weekly meeting to give business review.
• Prepare Seasonal reports and review it during the end of season meeting.
• Recommend optimum space management options based on store category sales performance.
• Assist with business planning & ongoing planning of merchandise & forecasting of sales.
• Maintain Stock level in the warehouse and stores.
• Responsible to make daily and weekly sales Reports
• Assist Managers to complete the buy process every season.
• Track shipments from the host brand.
• Review sales performance and propose promotions to boost sales.
