Installation, programming and maintenance of CISCO IP
Phone, NORTEL/Avaya PABX system and NORSTAR Key
system, etc.
Daily preparation of work order for maintenance, installation,
shifting and parallel request of telephone lines.
Conducts surveillance tasks upon receipt of request prior to
the installation of Telephone lines.
Make necessary arrangement with Engineering Department
for cabling facilities provisioning in preparation to installation,
shifting or parallel of telephone lines.
Provide assistance to Q-Tel and other vendors in connection
with the activation of new direct lines, new local extensions,
leased lines, PRI, and IP etc.
Serves as helpdesk to the users in connection to telephone
issues.
Preparation of worksheets for new lines prior to forwarding to
Q-Tel.
Serves as a first line maintenance prior to endorsement to
Q-Tel (vendor) for major trouble.
Installation and termination of Krone, BIX, Distribution Box, etc.
External works on all Health Centers and other subsidiary
Hospitals like OPD Annex, Psychiatry, PEC, Al Khor Hospital,
Al Wakrah Hospital, etc.
Troubleshooting of Local extension or cable, Jumper wire and
in-house wiring at customer premises.
Maintaining an inventory of telephone and other accessories
needed to replace or repair the system.
Responsible for diagnosing & resolving hardware, software,
network & end user problems;
Responsible to set-up, installation and configuration of any
new hardware/software;
Maintaining a wide range of PC hardware, software programs,
network infrastructure, ADSL using WIMAX & PABX Telephone
system;
Monitoring & maintaining network connectivity and Assisting
the IT manager with support request;
Maintaining a working desktop environment and support
outlook email and other Microsoft back-office application;
Ability to troubleshoot in the above technology environment
and communicate related issues with the end user and IT
management.
Updates and maintain inventories and stores of server and
network equipment and attends to the disposal of obsolete
hardware.
External works on GS-Daewoo client (LR Qatar Gas) and
Sub-Contractors (installation, configuration, setup and
troubleshooting of computer/printer and other accessories,
network printer, PABX, and ADSL- WIMAX);
Purchasing and coordinating to the vendors regarding service
calls for warranty on computer related equipment and
components and the supply of requested and approved
equipment.
Responsible for installation, setup, roll out, maintenance and
configuring computer systems and LAN/WAN of AL Bilad bank H.O.,
branches and Enjaz (remittance bank).
Administer and support computer networks (LAN/WAN), networking
hardware and software, network management, VPN and PABX
telephone system.
Ability to troubleshoot, provide solutions and communicate with a high
level of customer service.
Provides support coverage for other locations of the new branches.
(installation, configuration and setup the PC, network printer, scanner,
switch, direct telephone line and VOIP;
Ability to troubleshoot in the above technology environment and
communicate related issues with staff and IT management.
Provides continues coverage for hardware & software problems and
ensures the overall effectiveness of systems;
Responsible for Installation and setup, configuration of Modem, router
and connecting to leased line.
Responsible for upgrading tail branches of Equitable PCI bank from
leased line to frame relay connection. Role includes, transferring of
connection from leased line to frame relay connection;
Responsible for installation and configuration of IEN Hyper COM Router,
interface cards and modules;
Monitor the stability of Frame Relay, IP, Teller, ATM Machine Connection
and Voice over data connection.
Responsible for installation and repairing computer hardware &
software;
Responsible for installation and configuring data communication
equipment such as Alcatel OS 1024, 5024 6124 & Omni switch 5WX and
installation of router model Cisco 2600, 3000, 7500, ForeRunner ASX
200BX, ASX 1000 Pair gain & TUT system modems;
Administer and support computer networks (LAN/WAN), networking
hardware and software, network management, VPN and PABX
telephone system of Saudi Aramco users.
Ability to troubleshoot, provide solutions and communicate with a high
