JOB PROFILE:
Scope is to mechanically engineer the switchgear. Involves building the section models(CAD) of the switchgear line-up, with standard assemblies, as per the order inputs and Electrical drawings. Verifying the sections/bill for correctness, and designing the new parts/assemblies for custom requirements. Designs compliant with UL & NEMA standards.
CAD Software used: AutoDesk Inventor 2009, AutoDesk Vault/ProductStream and Custom Engineering applications.
