>An outpatient nurse is responsible for the overall care of patients seeking treatmentat an outpatient medical facility at outpatient clinic, patients seek treatment minor surgery physical and mental illness, vaccination, minor injuries, out patient basis cases.
>Outpatient nurse draw blood, check vital signs, monitor blood pressure and temperature and pulse, ensure iv lines are maintained.
>Give proper health education to patients and so with the caretaker of the patient.
>It is also the responsibility of an outpatient nurse to ensure the comfort of the patients before, during and after medical treatment, procedures.home meds.

>Normally work within hospitals and Medical offices.
>Prescreening patients and providing information to the patients about the physician s and the procedures.
>Making sure that the referral and booking management is carried out in agreement with the copmpany rules and regulations.
>REquired to manage clinic slots availability respond.
>Obtained insurance authorization for appointment in the healthcare field.
>Must have strong interpersonal skills, the availability to work well under pressure and the time management skills.
>Self motivated and committed achieving best results.
>Monitoring Patients conditions either monthly, weekly, follow up given appointment to the patient for continues health care needs.
>Ensuring vaccination Program for children to be implemented properly and monitoring the growth and development of the children in the community.
>Collaborating with the doctors regarding patients conditions and treatment.
>Evaluating patients presenting complaints.
>Always identify the patients particular before initiating major intervention like drawing of blood.giving emergency medicines.
>Incorporates the religious and cultural needs of the patient in their individualized care and include input from the family members.
>Provide privacy to every patients and ensures confidentiality of all records and procedures.Being dedicated and devoted to her work.
>Double checks the order of the doctor and clarify when order is not clear.Make sure the patient really understand the instruction before letting go.
>Giving Health Education to the community and home visit especially patient with chronic hypertension and diabetes and all needs under my care.
>ICU nurse must be devoted to the care of patients whose medical conditions require close observation and extra care.
>provide patient care as well as education and support to the patients family, nurse work alongside the patient's physicians and direction to licensed practical nurses and nursing assistant who work within the unit.
