Position Held: Civil/Structural Engineer
As a Civil/Structural Engineer I have provided engineering services to the oil/ gas sectors (Shell, BP, Caltex), energy contractors (Qenos, UGL, Orica), water industry (Gippsland Water)
• Analyze and design structures according to International Loading/Design Standards
• Structural inspection of existing structures
• Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study compliance with Australian and International Standards
• Preparation of structural scope of works for strengthening and design works
• Structural design of Hydrocarbon pipelines support and pipes/cables rack
• Structural design of hydrocarbon tanks/equipment’s skid/pressure vessels foundation
• Engineering design of underground structures and retaining walls
• Design verification and drafting check
• Investigation on capability of existing structures
• Design of retaining walls
• Bridge and Culverts site inspection and scope engineering
• Design and renew Pipe and box culverts
• On-site field work duties
o Rail stressing procedure training
o Quality inspections and reporting
o Pre-start presentations
o Dilapidation surveying and reporting
• Health and Safety compliance and procedures
o Planning works in consultation with HSE representatives to ensure full compliance with Safety requirements
o Creating and reviewing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Safety Analyses (JSA)
• Liaising with different teams from client, area coordinators and design approver to construction team to help guide the project towards completion

• Structural assessment and modification of the damaged steel loading dock (Sugar Australia Refinery- Melbourne)
• Structural retrofitting and modification of the bulk stock storage (Sugar Australia Refinery- Melbourne)
• Warragul Bio-reactor tank major upgrade and refurbishment (Water Water Treatment plant- Gippsland Water)
