Global Food Industries (Snacking Division) is a part of Al Batha Consumer group which develops and manufactures a range of own brand snacking products - primarily biscuits and wafers which are distributed across UAE and exported by own sales department.

Overseeing the accounting function for the company and directly reporting to the Finance Manager with key responsibilities as follows: • Preparing monthly group financial performance reporting pack including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Supervising the accounting department, including monthly financial closing.
• Preparing the annual financial statements; coordinating the audit process with independent auditors
• Overseeing preparation and processing of monthly payroll
• Coordinating the preparation of budgets, monitoring of implementation and escalate any deviation in order to take corrective action to ensure achievement of overall budget objectives.
• Responsible to ensure that the company's accounting policies and procedures are adhere to.

Key Achievements
• Created models to facilitate Budget analysis using advance function of excel.
• Developed an excellent procedure to capture outlet wise Advertisement and Promotion expense to ensure better control and accurately authorize the payment to the distributor.
• Successfully completed the external audit for the year 2012-2013 within the time frame allotted.

• Prompt payment to the vendors which ensured decrease of payment arrears complaints which resulted in better relationship with vendors
