• Field testing and equipment maintenance / calibration within the Concrete laboratory / Soil / Steel / Special Testing section offering services related to steel reinforcement, soil, aggregate and concrete.
• Assisting within other areas of the laboratory including structural investigation, condition survey and specialist civil engineering services.
• Ensuring personal responsibilities are discharge strictly in accordance with the Exova Materials Testing Services Middle East quality Management System and the requirement of ISO/IEC 17025.
• Calculating of test results and reporting.
• Checking and calibrating laboratory equipment.
• Maintain records of technical work carried out.
• Sampling and testing of collected samples in accordance with internal and / or bodycote procedure.
• Report immediately to the laboratory supervisor any malfunction of equipment.
• Carry out non routine test under supervision.
• Concrete monitoring on site.
• Physical test of bentonite (p.h. testing, specific gravity, viscosity testing)
• British Standard and American Standard (ASTM and ASHTO) familiarized.
• Working in the safe manner with other.
• Checking of quality test of aggregates, cement, water, admixture, and others materials needed.
• Responsible for all Technical aspect.
• Dispatching all technicians at site.
• Supervising and monitoring the quantities of the materials (cement, aggregates, admixture and etc.) .
• Estimating and checking the volume of the concrete in actual pouring.
• Coordinating the actual situation happened at the site.
• Evaluates the entire production for the improvement of quality assurance.
• Prepares relevant reports to top management and other concerned departments.
• Perform other related duties.
• Testing of quality test of Fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, and Soil (embankment, filling material, sub base material, and road base materials) according to their specification.
• Testing of Field Density Test (FDT) of soil using sand cone method.
• Testing of Maximum Dry Density (MDD) and Optimum Moisture Content (OMC) of soil for compaction.
• Testing of Compressive strength of concrete specimen.
• Testing of the steel (Physical test, strength, and bending).
• Testing of concrete core.
• Testing of strength of the concrete using rebound hammer test.
