• Engaged in new business development (Insurance & Investment Portfolio) in Corporate Segment and Direct Clients, interact with corporate clients on assessing their needs, preparation of quotations, policy conditions, and other contractual terms and assess new business opportunities with existing clients.
• Managing a team of more than ten sub-ordinates and lead them towards the sales targets
• Supervise, review and approve calculations of premiums and commission calculations made by sub-ordinate (s)
• Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks
• Liaise with claims department to ensure speedy settlement of claims pertaining to key customers.
• Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, advise them and convince them towards the company's portfolio
• Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance & investment plans
• Plan, assign and review work of sub-ordinates, guide on methods and procedures, suggest improvements in performance and handle complaints and grievances
• Develop marketing strategies to compete with other individuals or companies who sell insurance & investments
• Attend meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.
