As the Regulatory Affairs department is the focal point of contact with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and other stakeholders, I was in charge of translating all correspondence incoming and outgoing from English to Arabic and vice versa.
I ensured the translation of internal memos including compliance memos, complaints, and queries raised by customers or the media, Federal Laws by Decree, Cabinet decisions, Violation Decisions, and court papers related to cases of litigation.
kept an up-to-date record of all violation decisions received by Etisalat and shared the same daily with the relevant heads of sections.
provided the drafting and the proofreading of letters sent to the TRA, stakeholders, or the internal clients in English and/or Arabic all while maintaining that terminology used is consistent with the standard and editorial style laid down by the respective Department.
monitored telecommunications websites and summarized the needed information relevant to the mission of the Regulatory department.
I was in charge of preparing an up-to-date newsletter about telecommunications business twice a month.
provided day-to-day assistance to the Regulatory Economics team of analysts by conducting online fine search and keeping track of the recent developments in the telecommunication industry by monitoring relevant resources including major intelligence websites.
I was in charge of monitoring a social website similar to Facebook. I translate the chats and the interface from Arabic into English and vice versa.
I provided live consecutive interpreting between international police instructors and the police recruits.
I have a strong command of both English and French, I am a native Arabic speaker.
