• Work to achieve district educational goals and objectives by promoting active learning in the classroom/playground using board adopted curriculum and other appropriate learning activities
• Monitor student academic progress and personal growth toward stated objectives of instruction
• Maintain records of student’s educational progress in class, record books or board approved forms, and summarize these marks for reporting purposes
• Plan class activities and lesson presentations to be age appropriate and also meet class and individual needs
• Participate in school level planning, faculty committee meetings, and other school system groups events
• Make effective use of community resources to enhance the instructional program
