Check and Review all piping drawings, P&IDs, specifications and all vendor drawings and data sheets. Develop specifications covering plant layout and design, pipe fabrication, piping material installation, testing, winterizing and heat tracing and any additional specifications or data to effectively engineer and construct the project. Develop the overall and area plot plans; check location of all major equipment consistent with job specifications, codes, and economics, safety, and maintenance requirements. Prepare and complete design or plot development models ready for client's review and GS E&C's checking interface with all design and engineering groups during development. Initiate development of special models where necessary. Monitored all supplies provided by external vendors and ensured that all of material was in accordance to quality standards. Prepare case studies. Responsible for Coordination with other departments like Process, Structure, Civil, Safety, Instrument and electrical. Prepare technical clarification and check all vendor technical proposal and deviation list and prepare TBE. Check the material issue report and packing list and compare them with PMS and MTO that prepare at site. Check and response to technical deviation request (TDR) from vendor and technical query (TQ) from site contractor.

Responsible for the complete engineering and design of piping installations. Includes location of all major items of equipment, the preparation of design models, all specifications used for piping design, material, purchase, completion of above and underground drawings for installation of piping systems, requisition of all piping materials, etc. Prepare work plus instructions to designers involved in mechanical plus piping design package. Discuss all pertinent problems encountered during design stage. Ensure to openly communicate with various disciplines. Develop detailed material plus purchase parameters for piping and fittings. Head responsibility for piping layout, stress analysis, piping procurement activities and hanger design. Head responsibility to prepare piping bulk quantity forecasts for proposals. Conduct piping design analysis and guide others to application of codes and standards along with licensing requirements. Design and modeling above and underground piping system including utility and process units and modeling of all equipment by PDMS / Complex CAD files or drawings, Vessel orientation, Structure & platform information. Perform piping layout and Material take off and Bulk MTO, including paints, coat & wrap and special items. Prepare general piping arrangement drawings and piping isometric drawings. Generation of 2D Drawings for Piping & Equipment from 3D model, Accumulate data necessary for preparation of project piping engineering estimation, Such data to include piping man-hours, computer costs, etc. Prepare and check winterizing and steam tracing drawings. Ensure the Productivity and Quality is maintained by subordinates. Coordinate with other Disciplines in site. Monitoring the daily work activities of Sub Contractor and updating Sub Contractor Progress Reports. Assist Design Department in solving Piping Modification and Technical Problems in the Field. Provide technical answers to Engineering Queries raised up by the sub-contractor confirming design drawings and standard requirements. Responsible for counter checking by Isometric/Piping plan for the spools erected in the correct location, orientation, alignment and plumpness. Responsible for Coordination with other departments like Process, Structure, Civil, Safety, Instrument and electrical.
