Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Study the design deliverables received from MEP designer & provide inputs /comments in case we have any lack of details in the drawings
2. Lead a team of QS engineers in order to verify the quantities in the work orders received from the client for the electrical scope of works
and update the management for any deviation in between the contracts and the drawings in order to claim a variation orders and review
the items mentioned in the frame agreement in order to segregate the cost of the frame agreement items from the cost plus items.
3. Prepare a comprehensive list of electrical packages and float the quantities in the market for procurement purpose as well as follow up
with the client the status of the material submittal.
4. Liaise with all stakeholders in the project client/ consultant/ subcontractors/ suppliers / technical team.
Projects: Residential buildings.
1. Review construction & design deliverables and ensure compliance with project specification and local codes.
2. Material selection and procurement of low voltage and low current systems.
3. Liaising with local authority in order to get the approval / permit for the work.
4. Construction supervision for the accomplished electrical works and ensure compliance with the approved shop
drawings.
Technical & Design (2016-2017)
1. Study all electrical contract drawings and documents compliance
with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
2. Overseeing the preparation of shop drawings for LV systems (LTG,
LTG CTRL, Small PWR, Earthing & Containments) for Level-(1) & (2).
3. Perform take-off quantities for MV, LV & ELV systems by creating
full and comprehensive list of all materials required for the project.
4. Involved in the procurement stage by floating the quantities of
electrical packages for LV systems in the market and ensure all
suppliers quotations comply with the specifications & codes.
5. Ensured that all installations comply with MST, Specification, and
material submittal & update technical team for any changes in
order to be revised in the drawings due to site condition.
Site Management / Coordination (2017-2019)
1. In-charge of installation of Electrical & ELV services for the Stadium in concrete elements (Slabs, Columns, Wall & Retaining Walls…)
2. In-charge of installation of Electrical & ELV services for Level-1, external works (Infrastructure Works, Community Markets and
Auxiliary Buildings - Pumping Station S/S & Potable Water Pumping Station).
3. Review shop drawings for MV, LV & ELV systems for building & infrastructure works before release it to the site, and coordinate
with technical team in case of any discrepancies with other services & lack of details to prevent any rework in the future.
4. Liaise with the technical team in order to get the latest approved materials, shop drawings.
5. Overseeing 1st, 2nd & 3rd fix installation of in -house & subcontractors works for :
LV Systems: Lighting, Lighting Control, Small Power, Containments, Earthing & LPS.
ELV Systems: ICT, PAVA, ACS, FAS, BMS, CCTV & DTA.
Infrastructure Works: (Telecommunication Networks, ELV Networks, Dry Utilities, 11KV Cable & Street Lighting).
Transformers, Switchgear, MDB, SDB, PDB, MCC.
6. Acting as work front leader for electrical scope by leading a team of different trades and crafts.
7. Monitor all kinds of construction activities, identifying problems, recommend improvement, modification, take immediate
corrective action if required and prepare various progress reports.
8. Follow up on daily progress on the site and ensure all teams are achieving the required target for each activity.
9. Perform inspection for completed task and liaison with consultant & Quality Control team to get the required approval.
10. Liaise with all parties in the project for operation of the work (Technical, Civil, Planning, Logistic, Architect ...)
11. Liaise with technical team for any coring/opening/penetration required on site, which does not reflect in the builders work.
12. Overseeing the selection & requisition of materials.
13. Identify types of the Ceiling, Wall & Floor finishes & co-ordinate with civil team in order to start installation of electrical services.
Planning / Scheduling (2017-2019)
1. Preparation of overall plan for execution & liaised with management on program preparation and resource allocation.
2. Plans, Organizes, assigns the work and reviews, evaluates the performance of assigned staff.
3. Preparation of one-week look ahead per system & update the management for weekly progress & site needs (material, dwgs,
manpower).
4. Establish & control of KPI program for the work front.
5. Identify overall manpower (forecasting), gain/loss indicators for hours & QTY’s per week, actual & planned progress (cumulative)
of quantities and hours...
1. To perform all inspection duties as required by the project specifications relating to electrical system and equipments.
2. Witnessing the installation of CB, CT, CVT, PI, SA, DS, cable gland, cable tray, overhead conductor...etc
3. Inspect material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with client requirements for proper handling, storage and protection at construction sites following the installation details drawings.
4. Raise RFI & MRI for the installation of Anchor bolts, steel structure and electrical equipments.
5. Prepare and update the daily/weekly/monthly project status to site manager based on civil design information and layout & section plan
6. Prepare and update project schedule as per the activities in the site.
1. Evaluate client enquiries, ITP, specification, drawing and commercial terms.
2. Contribute to bid/no bid decision with justification.
3. Participate in site survey for pre bid & detail engineering estimations and to collect all data required for technical and commercial proposal preparation.
4. Prepare and participate in the review of and submit technical and commercial proposals and clarification responses to the highest standards of accuracy.
5. Formulate technical and commercial response with assistance and guidance from other departments as required and clarify all points mentioned in TBC (Technical bid clarification) during bidding stage.
6. Generate bill of materials and project costing estimations using departmental standards and procedures based on our reference in data base.
7. Conduct kick of meeting “KOM” with end user to clarify all stages and milestones which are mentioned in project schedule such as, mobilization of material and team, site activities, pre-shutdown and shutdown activities.
8. Conduct detailed site survey.
9. Design / Engineering of control system, process instruments, F&G systems, and sensors in Petrochemicals EPC Company.
10. Review of P&ID and designing & preparation of all instrumentation and F&G engineering deliverable (Design engineering package -DEP), such as, specification, material requisition, Instrument Index, I/O list, logic diagram (Cause & Effect), Instrument loop diagram, Instrument wiring diagram, Instrument cable rout plan, cable schedule, JB wiring diagram, Instrument layout, F&G detectors layout, JB location layout, Instrument data sheet, control room layout, system architecture.
11. Procure all required material for the project and execute the project as per the DEP.
12. Raise RFI (request for inspection) and MAR (material approval request) with QC engineer assistance.
13. Leading one or more team in the site, the description of this work manage all activities like, installing instruments(Transmitters, gas detectors, sensors), pulling cables (cable tray, ladders…), termination, loop checking, FAT, SAT, Commissioning.
14. Preparation of the ID application for all employees required for the project.
15. Familiar with VMS, ESD, DCS, F&G systems.
16. Familiar with engineering standards: IEEE, IEC, API, ATEX, ISA, NEMA.
17. Familiar with SABIC standard.
1. Practical Experience for 6- Months in (IDECO) - Irbid Distribution Electricity Company.
2. Supervising on the installation of distribution transformers, capacitors, cables and fuses.
3. Inspect on site for electrical installation and insure that the carried out works are in compliance with drawings.
4. Field visit to major power distribution station.
