• Implement sourcing strategies to provide the company competitive advantage in the areas of material supplies and services.
• Manage and monitor the activities relating to Procurement, Logistics & implement / streamline the processes & systems.
• Preparation of yearly budgets based on historic data and market trends
• Lead all Procurement activities such as Contracting Procedures, Supplier selection etc and ensure they are in line with the Policy and procedure.
• Determine and establish optimal inventory levels based on forecast, demand variation and material lead times.
• Coordinate material flows throughout product/BOM changes, obsolescence, and the introduction of new suppliers and/or materials due to new product development
• Perform Supplier Risk Evaluation to drive Supplier Rationalization process.
• Vendor Performance Rating and apply VPIC (Vendor Performance Improvement Chart) through Supplier Coordination meeting to improve on supply deliveries and other Supply related Issues.
• Manage supplier relationships in line with the business strategies and maintain a credible reputation in the marketplace.
• Negotiate and ensure continuous supply of materials (right quantity at right quality & right price) to the Business
Units.
• Frame Procurement Strategies to deliver Supply Chain objectives in terms of cost control, process improvements, supplier development, working capital management and financial benefits for the Company.
• Leading & tracking saving projects for the department to ensure favorable price variances against targets, Negotiating, and finalizing yearly contract with the suppliers.
• Manage the import activities right from L/C, actively involve with clearing agent in customs related matters till the customs clearance ensuring no demurrage and container detention penalties.
• Resolve vendor/contractor grievances and claims against supplies.
• Ensure achievement of Team KPIS including Cost optimization, Budget vs. Actual (spend within budget) and Internal customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and share Monthly procurement report and MIS with senior management.
Ensure Efficient and cost effective Purchase and Logistics activities.
Forecast the requirement and allocate, segregate & execute supply chain plan in coordination with sales team by considering past sales and promotional activities for all brands.
Monitor stock requirements and movement; keep track of supplier order cycles.
Review forecast on a monthly basis and take measures as necessary and Sending month wise sale and stock report to suppliers.
Converting business forecasts into an accurate purchasing plan
Execute the demand & inventory planning processes
Keeping all documents related to Purchase & Contract
Follow up with suppliers for the products availability and delivery in time.
Import/Export Documentation.
