- Develop and support new policies and procedures as well as organizational structures to improve the effectiveness of the company.
- Maintain a work environment which attracts, keeps, and motivates staff consisting of top quality people.
- Supervise others by assigning/directing work; conducting employee evaluations, staff training and development, taking appropriate disciplinary/corrective actions, making hiring/termination recommendations, etc.
- Ensure that comprehensive job descriptions are developed, remain current, and are communicated.
- Prepare an annual business plan for the department.
- Set goals and deadlines for the department.
- Analyze internal processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations.
- Oversee procurement, distribution and storage of supplies.
- Advice CEO on the main activities of the HR department, HR policies and procedures (P&P) and employee related issues
- Monitor the effectiveness of the HR dept. and suggest improvements where necessary.
- Develop and propose annual plans and budget for the HR dept.
- Ensure compliance with labor rules and laws where applicable.
- Consolidate information received from dept. heads to prepare manpower plans and update them on regular basis.
- Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants;
- Determine and facilitate the need for job evaluation in coordination with dept. heads and senior managers;
- Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems;
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Work closely with department managers to determine immediate and long-term staff requirements in terms of numbers and skill levels.
- Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
- Work closely with department managers to Identify training and development needs of employees.
- Organize staff training sessions including workshops and activities.
Participate in formulating HR operations plan & budget to assure alignment with HR plan and strategy.
Formulate and implement HR annual manpower and hiring plan & budget to assure providing the needed talent with the needed quality on time with optimum employment cost
Design and oversee implementation & continuous improvement of manpower planning systems to assure maximum productivity
Design and oversee implementation of recruitment system to ensure availability of wide pool of talent on time.
Design and oversee implementation of selection system to ensure providing the best fit on time with optimum employment cost
Establish and conduct the needed HR audit and scorecards systems to ensure effective and efficient recruitment & selection system, and maximum manpower utilization
Follow-up, direct, Appraise, Train & develop, and provide the needed support to recruitment staff to assure the proper design, implementation, and improvement of HR systems.
Coordinate with departments’ heads and provide the needed support and technical assistance to ensure compliance with manpower planning and selection systems.
Design, administer, and ensure maintaining & improvement of information system to support decision making process, functional evaluation, control, and alignment.
Pursue any other activities within the job scope assigned by his direct supervisor.
Continuous coordination and involvement with Departments & Units’ Heads to provide them with the needed support and technical assistance and ensure compliance to HR practices and systems
Continuous coordination with mother company’s HR department (Olympic) to ensure maximum utilization of manpower and improvement of selection process.
Maintain external network with recruitment agencies to keep updated manpower pool.
