Help support the success of 2500 international students at UTD through advocacy, outreach and administrative duties
Implement and lead a variety of educational, cultural and transitional programs
Present campus life information at New International Student Orientation
Evaluate and analyze assessments in order to measure student learning outcomes
Provide support and resources to new international students through communication campaigns and e-mail correspondence for overseas and current students
Lead English Conversation Hour bi-weekly sessions for international students; comparable to a casual ESL setting
Graduated with High Honors with a Masters of Science in Applied Sociology. Also a Golden Key International Honour Society member. Wrote thesis on Arab Americans, assimilation, culture, and how they shape and are shaped by US society.
