My primary responsibilities are to do design calculations, generate engineering drawings and vendor drawing review.
Design Calculations:
1. Cable sizing calculations,
2. Transformer sizing,
3. Battery sizing for DC system.
Engineering drawings:
1. Preparation of lighting layouts,
2. Preparation of cable tray layouts,
3. Preparation of earthing & lightning protection layouts,
4. Preparation of SLD.
Vendor Drawing Review:
I have reviewed vendor drawings of the following equipments:
1. Motors,
2. Cables and
3. LV Switchgears.
During my tenure as a student, I had exposure to electrical engineering subjects like, 1. AC and DC machines, 2. Power Systems, 3. Control Systems, 4. Power Electronics. My area of interest is in the study of AC machines. My final year project is 'Design of DC-DC converter to share energy between supercapacitor and battery in a hybrid electric vehicle'. It was a simulation project. It simulated three different topologies of DC-DC converter in Simulink.
