This is my proprietary firm which specializes in VAT and Finance related consultancy. We have assisted mid-size companies to implement VAT in a fully compliant manner. Apart from these we have taken up auditing, company formation and advisory assignments.
Responsible for certain special areas. These were Audits - finalized two years’ financials of ICC, VAT Implementation - Finance Lead to co-ordinate with our global tax advisors to implement all aspects of VAT, Winding up of overseas subsidiaries, Payroll and other areas. To lead the Management Reporting function. Duties include responsibility for monthly reporting, Budgets and Business Support. Leading a team of 5 (3 qualified). An important aspect of the role was management of key rates in the business - Labour, Equipment and Overheads.

Significant contributions include substantial advancement of reporting timelines fromth to 5th of every month, savings of AED 5 million for Eppco and other oil companies by analysis of a claim, revamping of intercompany reconciliations and increased use of reporting tools to automate reports.

Significant contributions include contributing to faster automation for the whole location, revamping of procedures for MODVAT availing and better reporting of receivables. In recognition, I was promoted to become Controller for a Business Unit.
