Duties and Responsibilities: (Pre-Contract)
• Provide support to all members of the department in all aspects related to their daily work.
• Drive the implementation of the cost control mechanism in all projects and aspects of the business.
• Develops tools, matrices, and formats for collecting data, tracking, trending, forecasting, and archiving cost/schedule information.
• Plan and maintain department’s training schedule and assure that all members of the department are given a fair and suitable opportunity to develop their career.
• Coordinate with other head of departments on required information to accomplish the cost control department’s target objectives.
• Reviews project budgets and subsequent cost estimates / plan, as well as monitors, adjusts and updates the cost plan accordingly.
• Works towards achieving the Project Cost Control function’s strategic goals and reports progress to executive management.
• Ensuring the Project controls team produce monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.
• Finalizes cost reports and analyses and ensures delivery to site project management or other departments as required.
• Notifies early alerts to the project managers immediately of any projected over- or under-run vs. approved funding, especially if outside agreed tolerances.
• Review, report and propose Areas of suggestions and Improvements in the Cost Control Management System to top management through the executive summary reports.
• Prepare, review and finalize the Preliminaries and General requirements budget with the Project Management personnel.
• Approve proposed internal budget changes with construction personnel, client and contractors, and ensure the system is updated.

Consolidated Contractors Group (CCC) is the main contractor and this Msheireb station is the largest station in Doha and is situated at the corner of the Msheireb development where Wadi Msheireb and Al Diwan Street meet. Msheireb Station marks the crossing of three metro lines with the Red and Green Lines running parallel and the Gold Line situated underneath. The station features an extravagant entrance shelter as a landmark way finding for locals and tourists alike. A strong visual connection between entrance and concourse enables a smooth passenger experience and clear direction throughout the station.

Duties and Responsibilities: (Post Contract)
• Reviews project budgets and subsequent cost estimates / plan, as well as monitors, adjusts and updates the cost plan accordingly.
• Develops tools, matrices, and formats for collecting data, tracking, trending, forecasting, and archiving cost/schedule information.
• Works towards achieving the Project Cost Control function’s strategic goals and reports progress to executive management.
• Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
• Ensuring the Project controls team produce weekly / monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.
• Integrates project schedules for forecasting cash flow requirements, and participates in the development of schedules.
