1. Managing the post-contract dept. that includes SQS, QS, and AQS and to effectively
oversee and coordinate the responsibilities of each team member.
2. Preparing and presenting monthly project cost reports for the management.
3. As the responsible party, I will oversee all post-contract activities of projects, starting
from project inception and continuing through to commercial close-out.
4. To participate in meetings and communicate with stakeholders regarding commercial
matters.
5. Responsible for building strong relationships with both clients and the supply chain.
6. Monitoring the cost of site resources.
7. Responsible for cost control by monitoring LPOs to ensure they are within the approved
budget.

actions.
9. Supporting the finance department with receivables.
10. Ensuring that the prerequisites for raising the advance payment application are in place
and preparation of advance application as per the terms of contract/PO received from the
client. Coordinate with the consultant/client for approval of advance payment application
and submission of tax invoice.
11. Preparation of interim payment application in line with the conditions of the contract by
coordinating with the project manager to value the progress of work at the site.
Supplement the interim payment application with supporting documents such as
highlighted drawings, measurement sheets, inspection requests, site work progress
reports, material delivery notes, photographs, etc.
12. Coordinate with the client/client’s commercial representative to agree on the amount of
certification and follow upon certification/approval of interim payment application.
13. Finalizing the project’s final account in coordination with the project’s stakeholders.
14. Coordinate with project management and internal divisions of the company to channel
any variations generated by these subsidiaries to the client.
15. Identify and notify variations as applicable to the client that may occur by means of
changes in drawings, specifications, timelines, and method of work and subcontractor
claims in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
16. Value and submit the variations to the client and provide further commercial
substantiation if required. Maintain a log of variations submitted to the client and
potential variations already notified to the client. Update the variation log once the
variation is approved by the client. Compile the variation order received from the client
together with any supporting documents and take necessary action for internal
circulation.
17. Oversee the certification of payment to subcontractors and advise the QS/Asst. QS in the
certification of subcontractor accounts may be key to project success.
18. Undertaking site visits to take part in the commercial meetings and for inspection of site
works in regards to the preparation of variations, undertaking joint measurements, and
joint inspections.
19. Collecting documents relating to revenue generated by all projects and preparation of
work-in-progress (WIP) reports for usage as management reporting.
