- I'm working as a QA/QC Engineer with E- Styrenics Polystyrene Plant - responsible for Utility Area, Under Ground, Nitrogen Plant & Boiler Plant Piping.
- High knowledge in reading of piping & pipe lines drawings, maps, welding symbols, API 1104 & ASME 31.1 codes & welding electrodes selection.
- Adjusting joints Fit-up & applying for all required tests on butt & fillet joints (VT, PT, MT, UT, LT, Radiographs Interpretation, Hydrotest for piping loops).
• Supervising of welder tests and qualify them according to ASME IX.
• Design welding maps for the plant drawings.
• Adjusting joints Fit-up and visual inspection for butt & fillet welds of the planet.
• Management of the Duplex, Stainless steel, L.T.C.S and C.S workshops.
• Carried out all required tests for butt & fillet joints in the planet (VT, PT, MT, UT& LT) for C.S, L.T.C.S, S.S & Duplex stainless steel materials.
• Radiographs Interpretation.
• Procedure Dye - Penetrate Tests and Interpretation of indications.
• Procedure Ultra-sonic and U.T Thickness Measurement for Tie-ins between the old plant and its new developed extension.
• Preparing required NDT Reports.
• Apply all other required tests asked by Owner for weld metal, base metal & HAZ in the planet (Ferrite Measurement, Hardness, Purging of Stainless& Duplex Steel & PMI Tests).
• Preparation of some Test Packs and control all Test Packs movment between different sections (QC of contractor and client, Hydrotest, Reinstatment and Precomisioning Sections).
• Bunching all required loops in the Utility Area ( Just bunch A & B ).
• Calibration for all testing devices (Clamp Ampere, Thermocouple, Purging, PMI, hardness& UT), welding machines and transformers and SMAW welding electrodes Packing & Holding Furnaces.
• Preparing required documents (Mechanical Procedures, ITPs, Devices and machines Calibration Certificates, WPS according to ASME IX, Heat Treatment, Welding Surveillance & NDT Reports).
• Supervising of welder tests and qualify them according ASME IX.
• Adjusting joints Fit-up and visual inspection of welds for Karam Duplex Pipeline (12" & 8"), Assil C.S Pipeline (12") and Badr 3 Pipeline (3").
• Adjusted joints Fit-up & carried out all required tests for butt & fillet joints in the planet (VT, PT, MT, UT & LT) for C.S, L.T.C.S, S.S, Super Duplex & Duplex stainless steel materials.
• Radiographs Interpretation.
• Procedure Dye - Penetrate Tests and Interpretation of indications.
