Maintains financial security by following internal controls.

Review Debtors every month and report to Finance control Manager.
Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.
Accept or reject the staff's credit recommendations.
Monitor deductions being taken by customers.
Manage the application of late fees.
Chasing debt by telephone and email, and reducing debtor days.
Prepares payments every Month by verifying documentation, Supplier Statement and requesting disbursements.
Investigating and resolving queries relating to nonpayment of invoices.
Working to strict monthly and annually collections targets.

Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Recommend changes in the credit policy to senior management.
Monitor the credit granting and updating process.
Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances.
Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements.
Liaising with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries.
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting and account reconciliations.
Overseeing the effective collection of company debt.
Managing relationships with the clients in order to reduce exposure to potential bad debt.
Reporting to the financial controller on a monthly basis on outstanding accounts.

Achievements
Undertook comprehensive overhaul of corporate credit policy to successfully reduce bad debt rate from 2% to 1.5% during the last 10 months
Managed accounts receivable and through robust approach to customer relations, reduced credit period from 90 to 60 days.
Maintain a very good and harmonious relation between the organization and clients.
