Job Responsibilities
* Promote health and safety within company and develop safer and healthier ways of working.
* Responsible for working as part of a team that ensures the safety of company employees.
* Manpower planning and delegation for the projects allocated. Monitor Safety inspections are
conducted as planned, timely and accurately.
* Ensure Implementation of OH&S requirements and Project Specific HSE Plan and monitor
effective implementation on site.
* Drive safety awareness campaigns and promote positive safety behavior/culture.
* Ensure Implementation of Covid-19 precautionary measures are perfectly done.
* Meet client requirements relevant to H&S.
* Participate in accident investigation, root cause analysis and preparing reports.
* Identifying and act upon opportunities for improvement to safety related matters.
* Liaise with Project Manager/ Safety Manager / Client / Contractors as deemed necessary for
discussion on project safety matters and to resolve issues.
* Implement and monitor OHS and Environment System.
* Assist in employees briefing, training and performance evaluation.
* Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the department to ensure compliance with
the established standards and procedures.
* Establishing control measures to eliminate and mitigate hazards, pointing safety advice to
employees.

Give site HSE Induction to new visitors and new entrants. Conduct Tool Box Talks. Conduct all HSE related Job specific inspections at site.
Design and deliver HSE training programs, as directed by the Management.
Inspect workplaces for adherence to regulations on safety, health, and the environment. Complete training as required by company standards/guidelines. Prepare all documentation works of HSE Department. Assist project manager for safe execution of work at site.
Prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly HSE reports and submit to project manager and HSE Manager.
Monitor daily temperature and symptoms checks of site employees. Prepare and carry out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced. Prepare daily Covid-19 precautionary measure checklist and submission to site management, office management and to client. Attend HSE meetings with client.
Daily inspection at site and suggest management corrective action practically and reasonable.
Inform and advise site management wherever rectification is required.
Implementation for safety violation/penalty system/ Three Strikes rule to employees if found guilty.
Implement incentive system at site of good practice and safe man of the month.
Prepare near miss, incident and accident reports.
Be an active listener and prepare emergency drills so that employee knows how to act in the event that an actual emergency arises.
Communicate with foremen, supervisors, engineers and managers concerning the possible risks of doing certain tasks that you feel might expose you to great danger.
Oversee safety awareness, hazard identification, risk assessment & emergency preparedness.
Train the employees to tackle emergencies and hostile situations responsibly. Teach safe up habits to employees.
Ensure good housekeeping and waste management. Assist the organization to prevent injuries and illnesses to employees.
Conduct random safety inspections and report any violations. Potential of preventing workplace safety hazards by following routine inspections.
Submit documents and photographed findings and present statistical data on safety activities to HSE Manager.
Prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly HSE reports.

Job Responsibilities
* Supervises a team of Safety Officers at site.
* Give HSE induction for the newly joined employees, entrants and visitors.
* Conduct TBT, Job related safety trainings and HSE Briefing at site and ensure that it has been
understood by the workforce.
* Prepare all documentation works of HSE Department at site. Prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly HSE
reports and submit to Project Manager and HSE Manager.
* Knowledge and Training in Safe Scaffolding erection and work at height.
* Good understanding of hazards and controls of work at height, lifting, scaffolding and hot work.
* Keeping records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
* Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances,
noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
* Monitoring the implementation of the permit-to-work system and development
Conduct HSE Induction to the new entrants.
* Conduct daily/weekly Tool Box Talks as per the work progress and basic safety
knowledge shared to each personnel at site.
* Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly
implemented.
