Roles (Steel Division):
• Tracking various projects within GCC region in various sectors (Oil & Gas, Industrial, Utilities, Transport & Urban Construction) to promote usage of steel sections & sheet piles produced by Emirates Steel.
• Meeting with key stakeholders of the project at concept stage to ensure that Emirates Steel is considered as a steel supplier in the project.
• Ensuring the design of the project in terms of sections within the production range of Emirates Steel.
• Meeting the design consultants to increase steel sections usage in construction within the production range of Emirates Steel without adversely impacting the functional requirements.
• Follow-up with the EPC Contractor to ensure that the BOQ is available for Emirates Steel to supply for the project.
• Registration of Emirates Steel in Government / Consultant / EPC Contractor suppliers portal and following up for getting approval as vendor supplier of steel.
• Reporting to management projects under discussion and likely to fructify in the immediate period.
• Arranging and presenting company products in technical event inside and outside the company with the design team of engineering consultants.
• Participating in developmental projects to achieve more EBITDA margin.
• Promoting new products of Emirates Steel (like New Sustainable High Strength Rebar ES600) with construction stakeholder to achieve win-win relation.
• Steel solution provider in cooperation with external engineering firm / 3rd party structural designer.
• Building market size model to estimate future steel rebar quantity based on the projects in the pipeline.
