• For the segments in new markets focusing on waterparks, other themeparks, other leisure destinations (Dubai Parks and Resorts, IMG World of Adventure, Atlantis, Wild Wadi, At The Top, Dubai Aquarium, Dubai Duty Free) and large retailers (Virgin Megastore, Hamleys, The Toy Store).
• Assist with managing the product development process from the concept phase to the post-launch analysis phase.
• Involvement in new product concept brainstorming meetings.
• Primary liaison with overseas vendors for Product Development from artwork to product specifications, sculpting, and sample approval.
• Negotiate pricing with oversees vendors.
• Ensure the accuracy of product and packaging samples and seek approvals required.
• Approves the final product photography and ensure that the catalog photography is accurate.
• Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
• Driving a solution set across development teams through market requirements, product contract, and positioning. Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
• Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
• Set up item number and other development information in item master while updating and maintaining it.
• Guarantees deadlines are met to obtain samples for tradeshows & licensor.
• Initiates collateral requests within the Creative Department and/or with outside service vendors.
• Works with Quality Compliance department regarding compliance issues.
