1. Communication and close coordination between various departments of SEC for the perfection of each project.
Design Review (Comparing & Cross Checking with Saudi Electricity Company Standards and other International Standards) and Preparation of Comments on Designer/Manufacturer’s Equipment/Material Proposal, Technical Submissions, Updating & Reporting Project Design Activities, Monitoring & Controlling the Designer/Manufacturer’s Activities, Reviews on MOM.
2. Review of Project Technical Specifications (PTS) including Scope Work (SOW) and Tender drawings for 380kV Substation Construction Projects.
3. Technical review of Company draft Materials Standard and Specification.
4. Design review and Preparation of Comments on Contractor or Manufacturer Equipment & Material Proposal and Technical Submittals as per PTS, SEC Standards and other International Standards requirements.
5. Review of Material Requisition, Manufacturer Prequalification Documents, Manufacturer Compliance Statements, Vendor Recommendation and Vendor Drawing Checking.
6. Design review including Base design and Detail design review meetings of various projects. Updating & Reporting Project design Activities, Reviews on MOM.
7. Coordinate with Client (Project Department), Contractor and Sub Contractor’s engineering disciplines during all stages of design review for various projects.

at National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK)

During my stay at NESPAK, I was involved in following activities;
1. To establish a liaison between Client - Indus River System Authority (IRSA), Consultant - National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) and Donor - Asian Development Bank (ADB).
2. Coordinator on various projects of earthquake affected areas in Pakistan with more focused on Bridges in Azad and Jammu Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Close coordination with site staff on technical, contractual and site supervision works. Review of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports quick resolution of site related problems on top priority.
3. Civil Coordinator at Peshawar High court Abbottabad bench.
4. Preparation of technical and financial proposals for different projects for national and international clients and NGO’s in Pakistan. More focus on resource handling and resource management during preparation of technical proposals so that overall project cost can be reduced.
5. Structural design review of various projects submitted by other Consultants / Contractors. These projects include RCC frame structures (buildings), cold rolled steel structures / light gauge steel (LGS), structural concrete insulated panels (SCIP), grid stations, bridges, culverts, water retaining structures such as overhead and under-ground water tanks and water treatment plants etc.
6. Review of shop drawings submitted by Contractors at different stages of project.
7. Meetings with Chief executives of Pakistan Army for deliberations on UAE funded hospital projects.
8. Site Visits to ensure the compliance of design and specifications.
9. Working on new fast track construction technologies such as LGS and SCIP.
10. Design review as a counterpart, on first ever extra dozed bridge in Pakistan with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Dianichi Consultant Japan.
11. Valuation of different projects for resolution of dispute between Client and Contractor.
