Muwahhid joined Cityspace on 06 October 2013 as a Quantity Surveyor and was entrusted with the duty of being in charge of the Quantity Surveying and Estimation departments.
Since joining Muwahhid has contributed immensely towards converting bids into successful projects while managing the costs of these projects from inception to completion. Below are some of the projects that Muwahhid has been part of.

The tasks undertaken by Muwahhid on the above projects include preparation of fee proposals for design services, contractual reviews & recommendations on design services agreements, preparation of cost plans as a preliminary budget, preparation of engineers estimates and BOQs, tender action and finalization of subcontracts, cost management, variations, interim payments, cost and time related claims, final accounts and post completion audits.

The programme is accredited by both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). On successful completion of the MSc in Quantity Surveying, graduates may apply for RICS membership. Following the successful completion of the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) graduate members will achieve full chartered status. On graduating from this programme students will be able to ensure that the resources of the construction industry are used to best advantage from project inception to demolition; understand how the inter-relationship between economics, technology, management and law can be used to add value to the financial and procurement management of construction projects; have intellectual and research skills appropriate to professional work in these disciplines; have a range of transferable skills in information technology, communication and team working; and be able to evaluate complex problems and formulate original ideas and proposals in the field of the built environment. This programme allows students to graduate with the necessary skills to become competent, intuitive and resourceful professionals and to become the highly qualified quantity surveyors of the future. The programme is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
