"• Extending dental services to patients for ensuring their sound dental health and examining, diagnosing, and treating diseases, abnormalities, injuries, and dysfunctional disorders of the oral cavity.
• Providing an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiological diagnostic service to patients in accordance with required commitments.
• Providing emergency treatment of facial injuries including facial lacerations, intra-oral lacerations, and fractured or avulsed teeth as well fractured facial bones.
• Removing tumors and stones in salivary glands and other abnormal growths of the oral and facial regions. Ensuring medical care and treatment of patients admitted and attending for consultation on patients.
• Evaluating findings and prescribing type, extent and order of treatment, referring non-dental problems to appropriate medical specialty
• Participating in multi‐disciplinary Team Conferences and take responsibility for the maintenance of appropriate liaison arrangements between Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and other specialties. .
• Work on orthodontic treatment, fitting appliances such as brackets, invisible orthodontics, self-legating Damon system, space maintainers, removable plates, intra-extra-oral devices, palatal expansion
• Render preventive dental services to patients like application of fluoride and sealants to teeth. Involved in periodontal treatment like scaling, root planning and gingival relining.
• Steering effort towards maintaining quality, safety, infection control standards & standards for delivery of dental care, diagnosis & treatment planning
• Spearheading Oral Examination, Patient Education, Appointment Scheduling, Instrument Sterilization, Diagnostic X-Rays, Oral Surgery and Extractions.
