Roles and Responsibilities
* Ensuring and Monitoring the implementation of HSE policy and plan
* Interacting and coordinating with client and other agencies in connection with HSE
* Monitoring safety procedure, practice and their compliance
* Advice line management on all HSE activities and operate HSE management system
* Ensure and monitor that all personal understand their HSE responsibilities
* Conducting and organizing HSE Training Program
* Conducting internal safety audit, safety meeting, mock drills, emergency evacuation drills and coordinating third party audit
* Organizing HSE promotional activities
* Monitoring regular work site inspection, periodically inspection of safety and fire equipments
* Ensuring the availability and quality of PPE and other safety equipments
* Guiding, advising latest HSE norms and regulations to the management
* Accident investigation, reporting and recording
* Monitored and prevented potential workplace safety hazards through routine inspections and training
* Accurate and up-to-date documentation of policies, procedures, and data; and investigations into accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
* Maintaining project accident investigation reports &Problem solving reports for critical safety issue.
* Safety Board/park updating for safety motivation at work place.
* Organize Safety Induction Training for new employees & worker.
PROJECT SUMMARY: Name: "Hazards and risk analysis in construction industries"
Description: Study the different risk & hazard occurred in the construction industries, what is the preventive measure are taken by these industries, procedure of risk assessment & the implementation procedure by the authority.
Duration: 1 Month
Study Area:
• Weekly Safety Performance meeting with contactor, Sub-contractor.
• Monthly, Weekly & Daily Safety Audit/inspection of lifting tools and tackles, scaffolds, hand tools, concrete mixer, welding m/c, Heavy equipment, Gas cylinders, chemical storage area, Fire Extinguisher, electrical equipment's etc.
• Daily Tools Box Talk meeting given to worker prior work start.
• Issuing & controlling on work permit system.
• Develop & contribute to Safety Health & Environment management system and associated strategies & management plans.
• Increased Awareness regarding Safety- Held training camps at site and office.
• Organize and conduct safety committee meeting to evaluate effective implementation of HSE plan and procedure.
• To advice the management in planning and organizing safety measures.
• Inspection of First Aid box and Material.
• Providing information about fire extinguisher to customers.
• Tracking record for monthly servicing of fire extinguisher and deploy service person by using checklist.
• Day to day observation on cleanliness, Ventilations, Floor Area, Material Stacking, Painting of Scrap Materials, Electrical Wires & Fittings.
• Enforce a "No Smoking" policy throughout the duration of the project.
• Scaffolding safe procedure, avoid falls from heights.
• Using/handling maintenance/inspection and refilling of all first aid fire fighting extinguishers.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENTS (PPE): a. Maintaining the quality and quantity of PPE as per the QHSE norms.
b. Issuing and Training to the usage of PPE to the employees, sub contractors and visitors.
EFFECTIVE EMERGENCY SERVICES: a. Maintaining the First Aid Box with appropriate medicines in all shifts.
b. Providing First Aid and Fire Fighting Training to each and every employee including the Management personal.
c. Keeping the suitable fire extinguishers with more than sufficient effective working conditions.
d. Providing emergency showers and eye wash stations nearby the worksite.
TAKING CARE OF WELFARE FACILITIES: a. Providing safe and cold drinking water in the worksite
b. Providing Toilet and washing room nearby the worksite with good hygienic..
c. Taking care of restrooms for employees with sophisticated facilities.
d. Taking extra care on employee's canteen facilities for 24 hours.
e. Providing other facilities for employees such as Transport, Medical, Education, Training & recreation.
PERSONAL HYGIENE: a. Promoting personal hygiene to each and every employee / worker.
b. Taking extra care to food hygiene and preventive steps to ensure for food contamination.
To promote the ideas & techniques to prevent injuries, avoid accident losses to establish accident free safe working environment in the organization. Expert at inspecting and evaluating workplaces for safety hazards and recommending and implementing safe workplace policies and procedures.
