Conduct pre-operational safety checks on equipment prior to start up
Test all controls, spreader slewing and boom telescoping for correct operation
Report defects to the maintenance department
Assigned Operational Shifts at Kenya Ports Quay Side berth 14 at Container Terminals.
Load and discharge containers to and from the Stacks to ITV, Wagon and External Trucks
Operate the machine until relieved end of the shift
Execute shifting of containers and housekeeping moves
Follow move instructions and work area being dispatched by planners through VHF Radio and updating after completing the assignment

Take full Control when lifting and ensure four corners casting correctly aligned above the pile
Identified and classified hazardous cargo and segregate Tanker according to arrangement.
