Current Position: Deputy Manager and Head of Health Insurance Dept.

Gargash Insurance Services is licensed by the UAE Ministry of Economy, is known today as one of the largest insurance broking houses both in terms of premium and client base, with one of the largest manpower resource in the insurance broking sector. Currently I am responsible for successfully managing the Health Insurance department in the capacity as Deputy Manager, heading a team of 17 staff members including, underwriters, claims processors and support staff. Managing a portfolio of over AED 100 million in premium booking. I am reporting to General Manager.

I have acquired advanced knowledge of various health insurance products, industry trends and legal developments impacting business, assisting clients with strategy and consultation.



Responsibilities include:
• Negotiating with Insurance companies for obtaining the target premium and various cover options and claim settlements.
• Meeting with clients and discuss various insurance plans and cover options and advising them benefits of each products and plans.
• Identify trends in health insurance market and follow regulatory and government requirements. Advice clients and sales team on the same.
• Recruit, Train and Guide staff members.
• Supervise back office support for sales team and resolving any escalated issues.
• Managing large client accounts.
• Build strong relationships with insurers/Assure loyalty of clients.
• Supervise Group and Individual placement and renewal.
• Supervise claims management.
• Evaluates competitors and recommends solutions for product differentiation.
• Resolves customer questions, complaints and issues regarding ( Health Insurance) products and policies, that are escalated to me.
