Fichtner scope of work was in the Power plant package. Was involved in the design and review of the following structures

o Ware House for Storage of Hazardous Chemicals.
o Water treatment plant, which consisted of Flocculating Tank, Tube Settler, Stilling Chamber, Parshall Flume & Flash Mixer Tank.
o Ash Slurry & Water Pump House with Pipe Rack

• NPCIL (NPCIL -> PUNJ LLOYD -> FICHTNER) - The Kakrapara Atomic Power Plant (KAPP), is implementing the 2 X 700MW Units 3 & 4, with Steam Driven Turbo Generators. The process was involved in the Pre - Bid Stage, in which PUNJ LLOYD is the BOTIP (Balance Of Turbine Island Package) Owner and Fichtner being their consultants. Was involved in the basic design and quantity estimate for the CCW Tunnels, Drain & Pipe Trenches.

• Maharashtra Power Plant (BGR Energy Systems -> EPT Engg & ECONS) - The Power plant for Maharashtra State was designed with EPT Engg Ltd by ECONS. It is a 2X500 MW plant located at Chandrapur (Units 8&9). Was involved in the design and review of
o Raft Foundation for the Wagon Tippler
o Design of Hoppers, Frames, Pedestals & Columns to support the Conveyer’s and Hoppers.
o Roof Shed
o Track supporting Beams and pedestals.
• NSL Sugars (NSL -> Cogent Engg’s -> ECONS) - The design of a 28TPH boiler plant was designed. The plant is located in Mundaya district in Karnataka.
o The Column, Beam & Slab for the Boiler was designed.
• Krishnaveni Sugars (Krishnaveni Sugars -> ECONS)- Design of roof truss for a Coal Shed of Size 25 x 96 m. The shed was designed in such a way to accompany a 3.5 m width of opening along the middle of the truss to provide passage for conveyer belt.
• Design of 32 Thickener (All India Minerals Ltd. -> Blackstone Group -> ECONS) - The column design for a 32 thickhe ener. The foundation forces where obtained from the STAAD File given by the Client using which the foundation for the Thickener was designed. The innermost ring of the Thickener alone is a circular footing.

• QAFCO for Qatar Fertilizer Co. - Design engineer for this project with approximate tonnage of the project about 750. The joint project also involves team from Hyundai E&C Co, Seobon and Saipem
• Jebel Ali M Station for Dubai Electricity & Water Authority with Doosan as contractor.
• Public mosque for New Doha International Airport - Involved with preliminary design of the project with CDC-Takenakajv and Alfasi as contractors
• Green Diesel Project, Abu Dhabi - Involved with the preparation of shop drawing for embedded plated and beams. Also took in charge the complete production schedule from placing purchase order for materials and trucks for galvanizing and final delivery. Also prepared the final invoice for the project. The entire project was completed in a week’s time.
