o Follow up Instrument Maintenance Program corrective & defective for Global
Maintenance Program
o Follow up all field Instrument Level, Flow, Temperature, Pressure Transmitters &
Indicators, Control Valves & all attachment equipments, Safety Valves, Switches, , Planed & Un-Planed Maintenance in the Production units
o Working knowledge of SCADA systems
o Responsible for installing new Control systems such as SCADA, PLC, ESD, Fire and Gas, etc. in oil processing plant.
o Represent Operations for supervision on projects till handover
o Knowledge of different types of sensor, such as pressure and level control
o Basic mechanical skills and understanding
o Good understanding of Health and safety
o Capable of reading electrical drawings with a good understanding of electrical control systems
o Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate
o Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts
o Finding and fixing faults and recalibrating instruments
o Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule
o Coordinate with outside dealer to obtain the quotations
o Dealing with outside dealers for spare parts
• Review and checking of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements
• Assist in technical development of assigned project P&ID.
• Reviewing instrumentation scope of work, drawings and executing the construction activities in line with the project specification and standards
• Supervision of Installation, Termination & Testing of field instruments, U/G and A/G conduits, cable trays and tubing for instruments, Instruments lab calibrations, marshalling panel and cabinets
• Involved in installation, Calibration of instruments such as transmitters, pressure switches, level switches, control valves, temperature sensor, fire and gas detector, flow meters, radar tank gauging, Motor operated valves(MOV), control valves, ESD valves, Positioners.
• Associated with Loop Checking, Testing/Pre-commissioning activities of all types of instruments
• Supervision of field Activities like Instrument Erection, Cable Laying and Termination, Panel Erection and other Structural works.
• supervision and checking of Termination Drawing, Instrument Loop schematic and Wiring diagrams, I/O list, Cause and effect diagrams, Fire and gas detection drawings, P&ID drawings and Logic diagrams
• Reports on work progress
