• Head commercial reviews & Bid No Bid meetings discussing costs, estimations, margins, T&Cs, and financials - Work in close coordination with Director of Bids and Director of Estimation to achieve organization’s goals
• Discuss NDAs, MOUs, exclusivity agreements, and partnerships with potential clients, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors
• Work with partners, security and technology specialists, suppliers, vendors, and developers to develop account specific proposals and solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to execute sales strategies and tactics to maximize current and new opportunities
• Identify key decision makers in assigned accounts, develop and maintain strong and effective strategic relationships with them
• Consult, identify, and translate customers’ requirements and potential business needs into solutions that are technically feasible and commercially viable
• Establish Program/Project Management procedures and plans for running the Security Business, HSSE, and Operations trainings projects
• Provide strategic consulting including business plan and sales strategy development
• Prepare and conduct commercial meetings to discuss the current projects and seek potential opportunities
• Discuss contracts, exclusive right to sell agreements, NDAs, contract terms and conditions with clients, variations, and disputes
• Prepare internal/external weekly & monthly reports including costs/revenue, financial forecasting, resource utilization, status and progress reports
• Design, implementation, and project management of security projects in MENA Region
• Work in coordination with various departments and lead a team of engineers/technicians and assistants to run projects and estimate variations/opportunities (time, cost, quality)
• Influencing team members by trainings and by creating motives and targets
• Assigning and delegating project tasks and evaluating team’s performance
• Reporting to PMO Manager, corporate management, and clients (costs, invoices, ETCs, budgets, estimations, time schedules, resources, recovery plans, and contingency plans)
• Negotiating project claims, contractual obligations, contractual variations, and disputes and finding solid solutions for issues faced and bottlenecks reached
• Creating a change management plan, analyzing risks and assumptions, and dealing with technical issues
• Creating SOW from client requirements and original narratives
• Designing an RFID solution for tracking doctors, nurses, patients, medical equipment, and assets within the medical facility and introducing Fusion, Siemens platform for integration
• Conducting workshops & client meetings to discuss technical difficulties
• Conducting meetings with vendors and solution providers to discuss proposals for accomplishing tasks and fulfilling required scope
• Estimating time and budget by creating charts, schedules and milestone plans
• Managing proper documentation, folders, and project submittals
• Leading a team of engineers and technicians to perform various tasks in monitoring the overall C4I Project and applications by identifying the work, setting objectives, planning, initiating evaluating the work, and monitoring the progress
• Working with SLAs, devising new concepts to manage and maintain the C4I project, and utilize the systems in better ways to enhance the performance and the quality of services
• Creating e-library of bi-lingual manuals for the security work packages of the C4I project
• Recruiting engineers & technicians, providing training, assigning tasks, guiding them, supervising their work, assessing their performance
• Introducing additional projects, services and security applications to stay in line with latest security technologies and C4I technologies
• Negotiating new security (CCTV, Access Control, etc…) opportunities/projects with potential clients and getting involved in the bidding processes
• IT/LAN/WAN implementation and maintenance of NCC (National Command Center), ANCC (Alternative National Command Center) and government security agencies HQs
• Administering server room of more than 80 Servers and maintaining more than 100 workstations running mainly 3 major applications: ICCS EILS/RMS, and AVL
• Engineering, testing, commissioning the CCTV system for the C4I project; DVRs, connectivity, display, and integrations
• Installing, programming, testing, commissioning, and maintaining AVL units, ID Keys, and crash sensors in vehicles and vessels (Automatic Vehicle location System)
• Monitoring network data flow and traffic of AVL, analyzing errors & malfunctions, generating reports, statistics, and graphs for movements for AVL resources
• Creating bi-lingual manuals for the AVL system (End User & Administrator) and conducting training sessions to client on operation and maintenance
• Implementing the Astro (analog) - Tetra (digital) Interface Design and reducing the delay generated from the inter-communication between the two technologies
• Installing & maintaining security and telecom equipment in MSCPs (Mobile Security Command Posts) CCTV, radio, Rack, servers, workstations, and applications
• Ensuring a consistent network infra-structure and connectivity between sites
• Maintaining applications and systems, and administrating more than 25 Servers and 50 workstations (Windows & Mac)
• Monitoring the remote printing, publishing process, and electronic archiving
• Supervision of the Pre-press, Press, and Post-Press Operations and dealing with technical problems (Heidelberg), resolving errors, and backing up data
• Conducting training sessions for staff in electronic editing, page making, and enhanced publishing processes to increase workflow and efficiency
• Full system / network design & implementation of Qatar Tribune under QIM
• Providing technical support, sales, demos, installation, & maintenance for FancyTech (home automation), wireless control of lights & electronic appliances, digital locks, fingerprint scanners, alarm systems, & surveillance cameras
