Reporting to Financial controller
Provide leadership and direction to the accounting team, oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organization
Control the General ledger and make sure its in compliance
Check, Analyse, and approve the Accounting Records. ( Journal Vouchers, Payment Vouchers, Receipt Vouchers, Credit Notes, Debit Notes etc)
Supervising the Job Costing in order to make sure that all jobs are as per contracts and Agency's Requirements, in Addition to Tenders Commercial Proposal.
Preparing on time monthly financial statements, management accounts and reports and provide accurate and timely management and financial information for decision making.
Preparing annual budgets and Quarterly forecasts for all the activities of the Company and actively monitors performance and adherence to budgetary targets including management reporting with variance analysis, proposals for corrective measures and decision support
Review the monthly Business Activity Statements and review all monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure maintenance of accurate and up to-date books of accounts and accounting records in accordance with the IFRS, accounting policies and procedures of the Company.
Liaise with Auditors on the different types of Audit such as (SOX with PWC, Internal Audit with KPMG and External Audit with Deloitte)
Managing working capital and cash flow to meet the company liability by continuous monitoring the collection from customers and payment flow based on its projection
Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Acting as a liaison with Banks and Insurance
Managing Payroll process for over 200 employees
Advising and strictly complying with UAE Labor Laws
