Leading a proactive team of Electrical Engineers, Technicians and other Staff members to oversee safety, security and efficiency of the Plant Equipment.
Developing long-term strategy for maintaining Plant in accordance with OEM Manuals, Statutory regulations, Company Policies and Legal/Contractual documents.
Planning budgets and implementing cost control measures to ensure optimal resource
utilization and meeting maintenance targets within stipulated deadlines.
Overseeing all Plant Equipment & Machinery including spare parts and consumables so that exact purchase requests are generated, recorded and updated on SAP system.
Overseeing Troubleshooting DC & UPS System (up to 200 KVA) besides periodic Maintenance of Power Transformer, MV SWGR, LV SWGR, Aux Transformers etc. besides effective Borescope Inspection for Generators.
Conducting Insulation resistance tests, Generator RTD Inspections & AC Impedance
Tests respectively.
Maintaining Motors, Generators, CT, PT, Transformers, HT Panels, LT Panels, Protective Replay, and Control Panels respectively.
Overseeing complete Testing & Commissioning procedures & training team members to pay attention to technical detail at all times.
Following Environmental, Health and Safety procedures; Maintaining Quality Assurance;
Following Safety Procedures and ensuring Statutory Compliance at all times.
Feeding & reviewing of design documents, project materials, technical specifications and compliance of EPC contractor design standards with international codes, clauses and project specifications.
Reviewing EPC/vendor quality plan, test plans for construction and commissioning activities with project specifications. Attending factory acceptance tests, design review meetings, progress meetings with EPC contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Validating site construction, commissioning, of electrical systems, in-process inspection, team building and coordination with
EPC. Pre-commissioning of electrical system and equipment testing procedure review and monitoring the test activity. Monitoring Generator systems and Electrical Switch gear systems besides reviewing design documents in sync with the contractual terms, Engineering, Planning, QC and Production departments respectively.
Planning & implementing maintenance schedules for improving the overall reliability and safety of plant equipment &
machinery.
Performing Preventive & Periodic Maintenance of Power Transformer, MV SWGR, LV SWGR, Aux Transformers and Battery &
Battery Chargers.
Performing Periodic Maintenance of HT Motors up to 7MW & LV Motors besides overseeing preventive maintenance &
troubleshooting for Sf6 Generator Circuit Breakers.
Performing preventive maintenance of 400KV GIS SWGR and periodic maintenance Generator Shaft voltage inspection and
replacing of Carbon Brushes.
Overseeing maintenance & troubleshooting of LCI & Cooling Systems (GE LS 200 Static Starter) besides maintenance of
Troubleshooting Exciter Systems (GE EX2100).

type of protection relays, of leading makes of static and microprocessor based relays.
Maintenance testing of relays, Breaker and calibration of Elec. Meters.
Preparation of cable schedule and termination schedules.
Trouble shooting of various electrical systems at different types of Process Plants and Power Plants. Testing
and calibration of all meters.
