Ability to oversee and implement FM & MEP strategies and procedures, whilst ensuring that work is carried out in full compliance with approved Design criteria, International standards, local Authority requirements, and safety and quality management systems.
Identifying and managing FM & MEP associated risks and reporting these through to senior management and associated contractors accordingly. This would include regular feedback on performance issues and adherence to contractual requirement
Ability to liaise professionally with all involved such as contractors, as well as local authorities and ministerial agencies, when required.
Reviewing contractors’ claims related to mechanical and electrical works and preparing appropriate recommendations accordingly.
Providing guidance and direction to staff to ensure consistency and maintenance of performance standards.
Supervises the review and approval of all proposed electromechanical systems and equipment by the Consultant; communicates and coordinates with the concerned.
Manages the review by the Consultant of the Contractor submittals and RFIs; verifies the adequacy of the response and inter-disciplinary input prior to return to the Contractor.
Assists in the validation of testing and commissioning, start-up, record drawings and post-occupancy evaluations; communicates and coordinates this process with the client.
Supervises the coordination process of training in the operation and maintenance of electromechanical systems
Supervises the handover process of As Built Drawings, O&M Manuals and related Systems Material Submittals.
Prepare planned preventive maintenance program and implement, monitor and review the same.
Identify the potential area of operational cost saving and implement alternate strategy.
Identify energy saving areas and effective implementation of energy saving program.
Effective control of resources and materials.
Provides pre-job support to engineers and specialists at the well site and in the base
Assist with rig-up and rig-down at the well site, Assist in LWD log generation and delivery at the well site reports
Assist technicians in checking and preparing MWD/LWD/DD equipment and surface systems (i.e. logging unit, computers, surface sensors, hand tools etc.)
Assists the lead engineer in the preparation of well site reports
Follows and complies with all Schlumberger SQ, HSE and IT standards, wears all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
