• Leading team of Planning, Project & Cost Control Engineers and Assistants, Quantity Surveyors, Document Controllers and Technical Assistants. Reporting to Divisional Manager, Deputy Divisional Manager & Planning & Cost Control Manager.
• Preparing, reviewing and gaining approval of Project Control budget for project procurement, resources utilization and sub-contractor’s payment. Producing, reviewing and monitoring scope management log to maintain control of actual vs. planned utilization of resources.
• Monitoring performance of Quantity Surveyors ensuring monthly progress invoices prepared for submission to client. Evaluating and providing solutions for contractual terms and conditions, contract scope of works and preparing contractual replies to the client.
• Monitoring and controlling field/site instructions, variation order requests, variation orders and related communication with client, evaluating and completing claim process.
• Preparing and reviewing detailed project schedules using Primavera-Version 6.0 up to activity breakdown levels. Preparing and submitting planning package consisting of project schedule, S Curve, C Curves, Manpower & PMV Histograms, PMS, Project Calendar, procedures, policies, etc, to the client.
• Raising alarms regarding slippages in progress and developing mitigation plans.
• Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports to client and project group for review.
• Preparing measurement sheets and monthly progress invoices. Following up with client, obtaining approvals and ensuring release of payment.
• Planning resource requirements, monitoring and controlling mobilization and de-mobilization of project direct and indirect manpower, construction plants, equipment, machinery and vehicles.
• Identifying, developing and monitoring cost control methods and functions. Ensuring planning and cost control functions are in compliance with policies & procedures.
