I worked as a Senior Planning Engineer in two major projects:
1- King Khalid International Airport Development and Expansion Project - Riyadh. Contract Amount: SAR 6 Billion.
The King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh is undergoing major upgrade and redevelopment under the direction of the General Authority for Civil Aviation. The Project Program includes the design and construction of:
• A new Terminal Processor between existing Terminals 3 and 4.
• Three new piers & new aprons.
• Lounge upgrades in Terminals 1 and 2
• The airfield upgrade to expand taxiways and provide additional aircraft parking positions.
• The Riyadh Metro stations which will be at Terminal 5 and terminals 3/4 and 1/2 together with railway lines and infrastructure.
• Infrastructure changes to the existing road network.
• The East Remote aircraft parking area.
Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluation of contractor’s schedule and reports in order to align with client requirements.
• Monitor critical activities based on the contractor’s schedule and advice project management.
• Preparation of progress Monitoring sheets (Dashboard) and KPIs for all major site activities to track and update information required for daily, weekly and monthly reports in order to verify adherence to or variance from planned productivities.

The project launched by Tatweer Buildings Company (Tatweer is a limited liability government-owned corporation) for Schools Program which entails construction for 4, 000 new schools over the next five years, as well as O&M of more than 16, 000 facilities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The development of public education will cost a total of SR 56 billion, which will be distributed over the next five years to implement four programs as part of the overall project to improve the quality of education.
Responsibilities:
• Participated in developing company’s strategies and business & operation plans.
• Drawn and implemented the pre-construction processes involving projects programming, design implementation, bidding documentation, procurement & award.
• Developed a high-level business plan for the execution of new 5-years program of educational buildings projects worth SR 56 billion.
• Lead the project control department for 30 school playgrounds project in Eastern Province.
