Led, designed, and oversaw the implementation of the big data and analytics ecosystem for a UK-based retailer to ingest and derive insights from China
market data (S3, Redshift, Glue, Tableau, Direct Connect, IAM, KMS) and led the feasibility study to interconnect it with its existing GCP counterpart (GCS, BigQuery, Looker, Partner Interconnect within Hong Kong SAR).
Designed the target architecture for Singaporean airline to modernize their Enterprise Information Management ecosystem (DB2, Datastage, SAP, Oracle, AbInitio, Redshift, Tableau, Dbt, Great Expectations, ClickHouse, DevOPS).
Hired, managed, and led a Cloudera experts team to help a Singaporean bank to upgrade the big data analytics platform (CDH to CDP) and deploy analytical clusters (Cloudera Data Science Workbench) in China, Indonesia and India.

Led the answer to the IRIS (Integrated Intelligence System) Ministry of Manpower RFP, an initiative aiming at integrating intelligence operations into
a centralised platform (data lake) to process both structured and unstructured data with analytical capabilities.
Designed an Edge to AI solution for a security company authorized to provide armed security officers to Singaporean government organisations, leveraging the Lumada IoT platform, including various data sources and types (GIS, Drone, Robots, Video, mainly near real-time) with multiple business integrations (API).
Designed a solution for eliminating data friction for a Power&Renewable, Environment and New Energies solutions provider, leveraging Lumada IoT and Data Catalog (governance and data operationalisation).
Led feasibility study with GovTech expert to identify where/how Lumada Data IoT platform could integrate with DECADA (Government IoT technology stack).

IT Architecture Manager for the Mobility Division Designed, led, and oversaw the implementation of a big data and analytics ecosystem for the REAMS project (Rail Enterprise Assets Management Systems), for Land Transport Authority with constant collaboration between LTA, PTO and STEE. The main goals were to increase the level of reliability while optimizing corresponding maintenance costs, requiring the capabilities to predict the likelihood of asset failures, estimate the useful remaining lifetime, maintain inventory stock (with automatic resupply to ensure minimum safety levels) and trigger maintenance action just-in-time. The ecosystem included multiple building blocks, e.g. Hadoop/Spark cluster (50+ nodes, 3 environments), HCatalog, HBase, Sqoop, Flume, Apache NiFi, QlickSense, SQL Server, Docker, Splunk as well as various ML algorithms (CoxNet, Linear and Logistic Regression, Survival) Led the data assessment initiative with a team of data engineers, BI and data scientists and oversaw the Knowledge Transfer and Training delivered to PTOs. Contributed to the Digital Center of Excellence initiatives related to MindSphere (IoT solution for industries), Blockchain and Autonomous Vehicles. Contributed to the Track Circuits Condition-based Monitoring replacement project.

Led and designed an Enterprise Data Model for the Solution and Industry Standards division to serve as a template for the TMForum. Supported Data Analytics/Science teams with Universal Customer View project (450 billion xDR / day, 100 TB / day (Hadoop, Spark, R and Python). Showcased Huawei Customer Experience Management products and 5G future capabilities to various VIP clients (Libyan telecom, Saudi Arabia Minister of Interior...etc) during their tour of Huawei Campus (Cloud Park). Business Architect for TMForum Catalyst Omni-channel initiative (a collaboration between Vodafone and Huawei) which has been awarded as Outstanding Performance during Nice event (May 2017). Participation in the MWC (Mobile World Congress) to promote Huawei Customer Experience Management capabilities. Led and designed the AIS (historical telco operator - 40 million subscribers) business and operating model transformation (from Network Operating Center to Services Operating Center) to deliver a better customer experience, leveraging Huawei CEM SmartCare platform (Hadoop/Spark stack) and following Enterprise Architecture approach (CEM Maturity Level Assessment, Capability Map, Business Value, Value Streams) and using BiZBoK, DMBoK, eTOM, TAM, SID, Abacus EA modelling tool.

Defined and enabled a mature data management discipline across the organisation, leveraging the DAMA DMBoK methodology, in preparation for the GDPR arrival and mitigating/preventing financial penalties.
