PROJECT: SAUDI ARAMCO - Al-Mu’ajjiz Crude Oil terminal Project, KSA.(Tank farm)
• Planning, management, supervision and execution of projects with multi-disciplinary proficiency in Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Works.(Responsible for PMCC, Pre-Commissioning and Interface Management )
• Leading Pre-Commissioning team Engineers and Execution team from all disciplines- Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls.
• Conducting regular meeting with Clients/Proponents for PMCC and Pre-commissioning activities.
• Facilitate meeting to resolve the issues related to Interface points, with other contractors, consultants and clients.
• Preparing the Engineering documents like Pre-commissioning Matrix, Execution Plan, Method statement, General and Detailed procedures, Energization Package, Loop check, Relief valves(PVRV, PZV) data base etc.
• Responsible for scheduling and finalizing work packages for Pre-Com activities like testing and calibration of Relief valves & other instruments, tanks, Pipelines, Electrical systems, Cathodic protection systems, Fire alarm system etc.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare Database for Daily Progress Measurements.
• Study and Review of each Process Package received from the Plant.
• Check-out document / drawings and monitor the status of the estimated drawings requiring Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Prepare MDL-Master document list and MRL for process packages by coordinating with each discipline Engineers.
• Prepare MTO-Material take-off Quantities/MRF/ BOQ base in Isometric drawings & other references by using Project Runner.
• Estimates the Quantities from FEED & IFC drawings and possible Variation Orders
• Verify the vendor Documents, BOQ-Bill of Quantities declared by contractor
• Estimates Man-hours for the specific jobs and Audit of man-hours of Contractors Cost Summaries, overall man-hour forecast information.
• Evaluation of Bill of Quantities and Cost Estimates
• Review and Evaluate the Quantities and Cost of variation orders/ Site Instruction & PCA (Potential Change Alert)
• Monitor the Material status & delivery
• Organizing meeting and prepares MOM with Engineering and Design department and Process Engineering (end users).
PROJECTS: Saudi Aramco Manifa Core Hydrocarbon Facilities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review of P&ID, layout and detailed study of construction isometrics (weld maps).
• Provide work procedures and latest IFC drawings to the site.
• Ensure all works are carried out as per ARAMCO specifications and QC procedures are followed.
• Preparation of Site Technical Query and communicate with clients engineering for solutions.
• Request additional materials if any from client according to drawing revisions.
• Record the works done for site modifications.
• Preparations of red mark ups and give to engineering for as built preparations.
• Monitor the mechanical completion of pipelines and forward for hydro test with proper documentation.
• Prepare Database for Progress Measurements monitoring as per method of measurements
• Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) / Bill of Materials and Quantities based on the Isometric Drawing (Piping, Structural Electrical & Instrumentation)
• Monitoring the availability of spools and supports for erection.
• Progress Monitoring & Updating the Site Progress as per Method of Measurements Steps
• Coordinate the administration of the prime contract and subcontracts on a company project.
• Coordinate with Planning Department for baseline schedule and quantities
• Ensure that the administration of contracts by projects is carried out in accordance with the company policies and procedures
• Prepare the Quantities from Engineering Query for possible additional claims.
• Conduct regular site visits to check and verify actual works progress achieved
• Attend Daily and Weekly Progress Meeting with the client & Preparing Daily Minutes of Meeting
• Prepare database & Take-off the weld joints and Flange Management matrix
• Coordinates with Site Supervisor for the progress and material situation.
As a Structural Engineer my area of involvement includes:
• Reviewed engineering documentation issued for construction.
• Installation and erection of the structural beam, column and piping spool.
• Ensured Materials are delivered in time to meet schedule.
• Ensure and checking of the H beam and bracing and angles, tag numbers.
• Knowledge of the main column and inter connection beams and bracing and angles, checking erection drawings then erected at suitable elevation.
• Selected the suitable bolt nut prior of the beam thickness.
• Knowledge of the structural erection and fabrication drawings, sometime changes in fabricated beam then erected.
• Knowledge of torque, how much power given to tightening to erect the beam.
• Knowledge of the materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel & stainless steel.
• Responsible for the inspection of pipe supports. Installed on the erected pipelines as per isometric drawings and pipe support location plan.
• Continuous welding using to make column and I Beam and cut size plate assemble the part at erection on site.
• Responsible in receiving client's project specification and drawings prior to commencement of work.
Project: Reliance Petroleum.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare Bill of Quantities and materials / Quantity Take-off (based in the Isometric Drawing (Piping & Structural)
• Monitor and Verify the Progress quantities declared by sub-contractor
• Monitoring the contractor performance and progress and initiation of contract forecast trend as required
• Progress Measurement / quantity tracking in Mechanical Equipment, Structural Erection & Piping erection (U/G and A/G) at site for verification based on the report of the SUB-Contractor
• Conduct regular site visits to check and record spools & materials delivered to site, works progress achieved, change orders executed
• Prepares and update daily & weekly progress report
• Prepares the reports to Project Management and other Project groups as required
• Review sub-Contractors payment applications and verify monthly invoices and validation and signoff of contractor takeoffs on cost summaries against IFC drawing, schedules and Equipment lists
• Measuring, evaluating and negotiating the cost of Additional Extra Works with the sub-Contractor and ensuring variations are managed in accordance with the Project Change Order Procedures.
Project: Bharat Petroleum Kochi Refineries Expansion Project.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Detailed study of construction drawings (GAD, Isometric drawings) and technical specifications Preparation of bill of quantities for material collection.
• Assist planning engineer in scheduling piping related activities to ensure smooth operation of project.
• Organizing and executing fabrication and erection activities in accordance with the project schedule.
• Provide answers to engineering queries in consultation with design department.
• Ensure the works done are as per specifications and IFC drawings and that the requirements of engineering queries are incorporated.
• Identify material, specification, inspection requirements and organize stage wise inspection as required, follow up with the work permit system.
• Prepare schedule and coordinate for NDT.
• Review technical documentation and as built drawings.
• Interpret contract documents and liaise with the client’s inspector in all aspects of work.
• Prepares daily progress report and forward to planning department.
• Reports to construction manager interfaces with QC, Safety officer and document controller.
MBA in Operations and Marketing
