• MEP Testing & Commissioning Manager at QPD Fit-out Project.
• The role involves preparation/ review of Commissioning (Cx) plan, T&C Program, Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans and amend as and when needed.
• Co-ordination with 3rd party witness team, consultant, construction team, specialists/ OEM and other stake holders on the project for completion of T&C to enable handover of area/systems.
• MEP Testing & Commissioning Manager at Al Bayt - Al Khor FIFA stadium. Prior, successfully handed over Doha Metro Red Line North Underground Project, being MEP T&C Lead. Role involves starting from Construction through QA/QC, T&C and Handover phases.
• The job includes preparation of Commissioning (Cx) plans, T&C Program, Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans and reports to enhance project progress and completion.
• Led 30 colleagues, reporting/coordination involving for routine T&C, documentation and site support. Lead a team of T&C witness engineers (Mechanical & Electrical).
• Validation of employer’s requirements, Control measures, and LEED/GSAS requirements through testing and commissioning of systems and sub-systems. FRACAS and RAMS reporting and demonstration during the T&C regime.
• Co-ordination with MEP Construction team for the completion of works, to open work fronts for Testing & commissioning for hand over.
• Safe energization and safe maintaining of the electrical & mechanical equipment (Supervise LOTO team).
• Supervision of Sub Contractor’s Testing & Commissioning activities for all Electrical (MV Panels, Transformers, MDBs, Central Battery System, Lighting Control, etc.) ELV (CCTV, ICT, Access Control, etc.), Mechanical (HVAC, Fire Fighting and Plumbing), Escalators, Elevators, and Building Management systems.
• Coordination and planning with Rail contractor (railing stock, signaling, SCADA, etc.) for system Integration tests and Qatar Civil Defense (QCDD) inspections.
• Works with the engineering department and QRC (AoR) for QCDD tests planning, documentation requirements, document review and upload to QCD portal. Coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors for internal and final QCDD inspections.
• The role of being Sr. QA/QC Engineer and Testing & Commissioning Engineer involves leading (reporting to Project Director) a team of Electrical and Mechanical engineers at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center and Sheraton Car Park Projects.
• Installation, Inspection, Testing & Commissioning of ELV, LV, MV, HV & Mechanical (MEP). Preparing the MEP method statements for Installation & Testing commissioning.
• Coordination and planning with 3rd Party and Consultant for the Testing & Commissioning activities for Electrical Works (such as 11KV Generators, HV Switchgears, MV Panels, MCC Panels, etc.).
• Foresee critical installation issues prior to occurrence and guide the Construction team with preventive and corrective measures.
• Conduct Preparatory meetings (Quality Induction) prior to commencement of first of its kind installations and define benchmarks.
• Proactively supervise the closure of NCRs, suggesting innovative ideas for improvement curtailing the financial impact on the project.
• Liaise with the QA/QC Manager for external /internal audits and action the audit findings.
• Prepare the RFI in case of insufficient information, alternate proposal or engineering conflict.
• Report and provide sufficient information to the contracts department, for the variations carried out. Advice the QS team on the possible claims that might arise during the project execution stage.
• Worked at QA/QC department in a state of the art project, the Renaissance Hotel Dubai, with proper planning and coordination with construction team managed to hand over the MEP Clearances a month ahead of the deadline.
• Team member at “AED 1 billion Sowwah Square Project” at Abu Dhabi, with responsibility for a-36 floor tower.
• Started Career as a Technician and later given the responsibilities as Jr. Electrical Engineer.
• Engineering support and construction follow up for the extension of the Abu Hail Mosque in Dubai. Maintenance and technical support for Al Habtoor tower at Sharjah.
- Started as an apprentice in engineering department of the hospital reporting to Cheif Engineer then prior to the completion of probation been promoted as a Trainee Electrical Engineer.
- Responsible for over all Electrical Installations, machines, and substation and their maintenance.
- Preparation of the prediction preventive maintenance plans for all machines and Panels.
- Keeping records of all case history of break downs of machines and panels and to avoid any future emergency.
The Indian Institution of Engineers (India) [IIE] is a statutory body to promote and advance the engineering and technology. A.M.I.l.E (Associate Member of Indian Institution of Engineers) certificate is issued by IIE upon completion of Section-A & B and is equivalent to Bachelor of Engineering (B. Tech/ B.E). Scored overall marks of 74.8%. Academic year 2018-2021.
A 3-year Electrical Engineering Diploma under Technical Education Department, Kerala - India. Scored overall marks of 76% with Electrical as the main subject and "Electronics & Hydraulics" as Secondary subjects in year 2000-2003.
