o Manage Quality Control Department and responsible to update the top management about the department activities and progresses.
o Implementation, Monitoring and maintaining of HACCP/ISO 22000/ BRC/ IFS standard within the company.
o Responsible for conducting food safety internal audits, plant hygiene audit to meet regulatory requirements.
o Key contact person for regulatory, 3rd party inspections and audit.
o Responsible for conducting supplier audits as a part of supplier approval program
o Train the food handlers in HACCP, food safety, hygiene and Health & safety ( Dubai Municipality Approved trainer)
o Handling customer complaint, root cause analysis and take necessary corrective and preventive action.
o Liaise with 3rd party laboratories for specific quality test, calibration of equipment.
o Make sure all quality documents are properly filled, timely checked verified and controlled in a manner to be retrieved when needed.
o Responsible for monitoring and evaluation of work performance of all quality control department personnel, train and motivate to improve their performance.
oResponsibilities:
o Coordinated HACCP, HSE activities for the facility.
o Quality inspection of in process raw materials ( Fresh Fruits, vegetables, Frozen Meat, Cake, Egg and Dairy products etc) during receiving, and packing to different customers.
o Collect the samples from Food processing, Incoming consignments & storage and send to Laboratory for various Micro biological analysis.
o Conducting daily inspection Food premises regarding Health& safety, hygiene, sanitation condition of all production, storage areas etc.
o Communicate with different suppliers and customers for Quality issues.
o Responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality and compliance targets.
o Keeping quality documentation up to date and making sure that all QA records, data & information are available to managers
o Conduct internal audit of the facility and supplier audit.
o Ensuring non-conforming products are identified and placed on restriction
o Followed-up regarding quality and food safety issues noted by customers
o Conducted in house training programs in food safety, hygiene and Healt & safety for food handlers.
o Manage and maintain an effective pest control system.
o Ensure proper housekeeping within the facility and arranging the calibration repair of any QA related equipment that is malfunctioning
o Organoleptic assessment of incoming raw materials & online inspection of the product (Bakery, Chocolate, Dates and Pastry items).
o Hygiene, Sanitation and sterilization check for the whole production.
o Food delivery vehicle sanitation, temperature, stacking check.
o Collect the samples from Food processing, Incoming consignments & storage and send to Laboratory for various Micro biological analysis.
o GMP, Hand sanitation, table/utensil sanitation, safety apparel check etc for production after each break.
o Ensuring Food Hygiene and Sanitation SOP’s at all production areas, dishwashing utilities, receiving and storage areas
o Ensure good stacking, arrangement of both raw and finished goods in ware house
o Quality check during preparation of deliveries in the warehouse, Chiller and Freezer
o Conduct internal audits of Quality systems, HACCP system, Preparing for & supporting external audits and Municipality inspection.
o Conduct training programs on Quality systems, HACCP system, Food safety and Hygiene for staffs at all levels
