- Responsible for maintaining employee relations and problem solving, recruiting for open positions including the pre-screening processes, and all new hire and termination procedures.
- Responsible for working with managers in disciplinary cases as well as advising managers in employee management issues.
- Assist in the developing and updating company policies and procedures.

-Process all salary changes due to merit increases, promotions, bonuses, and pay adjustments. And ensure that all necessary documents are received, information is entered into computer database, and forwarded to payroll.
-Work with department managers in writing and placing job vacancy ads.
-Conduct new employee orientations and safety training programs, ensuring all necessary forms and documents are completed.
-Answer benefit questions for managers and employees, as well as assist with problem solving. Act as
a liaison between employees and insurance carries to resolve problems and clarify benefits. Assist
with annual benefit renewals, including enrollment procedures.
-Ensure that documentation is completed for any workers compensation claims, short or long-term disability claims. Conduct follow up to ensure that all parties are kept informed.

- Organize Personnel schedule (Crew change plans)
- Prepare personnel time sheets (Monthly Attendance sheets)
- Produce a monthly activity report.
- Produce a monthly head count report.
- Organize for legalizing all company vehicles.
- Organize for all logistic support for top management and company
visitors (Flight reservations, hotel accommodations & airport meet and assist)
- Organize with H.S.E Manager and HR Manager (Head Office) for crew training (IWCF courses) and keep updated records for this trainings.
- Organize with company accountants to issue the monthly salaries for local crews.
- Ensures that the Company polices and Country laws and regulations are followed and respected in the Base and at rig sites.
- Establishes good relationship with officials in Base and Client representatives in their base and at the rigs.
- Assures safe operations in the base is being executed.
- Assures all base staff are acquainted with the Company and Client H.S.E policies.
-Assures that company transport/ driving system is implemented.
- Assures that waste management system for the base is in place and been implemented.
- Assures that emergency system for the base is in place and understood by all personnel.
- Issues a Monthly Expense report covering base expenditure with supporting documents.
- Issues Monthly Request for Cash for the base following month expenses.
- Reviews and initials the local purchase invoices before sending to Damascus.
- Keeps track of Personnel Vacations/Rotations/Head Count/Bonus and provide Damascus Office and HR in headquarter and issues the relevant documents as requested.
- Manages personnel transportation to / from the base/fields to/from Damascus and home.
- Follow up and ensures quality Catering service is provided at the base and rigs.
