• Presently responsible for Erection, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of Off-shore & On-shore production plant & platform, Gas Pipeline, NGL Plant and Common specialties in Electrical & Instruments control systems.
• Upgrading of DCS, F&G & ESD system to Latest state of FF DCS and F&G &ESD system to SIL3 TUV certified
• Replacement of existing DCS with a new FF DCS, existing DCS field Instruments with new FF instruments, existing ESD and F&G systems with TUV Certified SIL-3 redundant systems and shall be integrated new FF DCS.
• Replacement of Third party Panels such as Flare Control Panels, RAW NGL Pump Panel, Glycol Control Panel, Tank Vapour Blower systems, Burner Hot Oil Panels, HIPPS, Instrument Air Compressor Panels and Dehydration Relay Panels.
• Modification and up gradation of QP Off-shore Instruments air compressor at PS-2 & PS-3 platforms.
• OXY off-shore co-ordination of Electrical and Instruments work.
• Total Off-Shore Co-ordination of Electrical and Instrumentation work.
• Frequently visit off-shore platforms and Island to solve the Electrical and Instrumentation site issue for up-gradation, modification work.
• Site visit for Pre-Tender to explain Electrical & Instrumentation work details for off-shore & on-shore.
• Assists in sub-contractor's mobilization i.e. ensures that all new comers attend the safety related courses and relevant gate passes, Participate in kick-off meetings. Assists Sub-contracts to construct their temporary yard provides by the proper utilities.
• Verifies the received instrumentation material specifications supervise the calibration of the instrument and function checks the system components.
• Co-ordinates with Area Authorities to plan ahead for the instrumentation works, apply for the relevant Work Permits and Provides clarifications if needed. Attends to all instrumentation site quires, issues related site instructions and participate in clearing instrumentation engineering queries.
• Reviews / implements the pre-commissioning procedures and control loop checks, liaises with the operation authorities to tie-in, and match, the new instrumentation system to the operational ones.
• Liaises within the operations authorities and the different vendor representatives to prepare the commissioning procedures contribute in Risk Assessments, implement these procedures with minimum operations disturbances, and tune new system to the operational requirement.
• Follow up on instrumentation punch list items clearance, check and approve instrumentation As-built drawings. Ensures that adequate date are handed over to the area Authority for further day to day operation of the system e.g. O & M manuals, spare parts lists.
Mobilizes Electrical & instrumentation vendor representative and supervise the commissioning activities in Co-ordination with in the area Authorities.
• Installation of Emerson metering skid for JET A1 fuel & Sulphur system & Site required cable connection & accessories Installation.
• LV transformer, Switchgear and MDBs Installation for new requirements as well as modifying the existing.
• SHEET (Skin effect Electrical Heat Tracing system) Installation on the pipeline.
• Modification of Existing DCS & Marshalling cabinets for adding new Signals.
• Installation of ESDV valves and assisting the commissioning team.
• Sulphur Tank Installation including the Sulphur forwarding pumps station work.
• • Responsible for Erection, pre-commissioning and Commissioning of MHI Gas Turbine, HRSG, Steam Turbine, Distiller, cooling tower and Common specialties in instruments & control systems.
• Construction drawing review and confirm with AFC drawing to implement to site for BOP, MHI Gas Turbine, HRSG, Gas Receiving Station, Steam Turbine, Distiller, Cooling tower and common facilities for Ras Laffan C IWPP project.
• Erection, Testing and commissioning of DCS, Field Instruments, FG detection system, FA System, MOVs, Control Valves and Server and work station in Central control room (CCR).
• Instruments Calibration, Loop Check and Function test for Both Electrical & Instruments in Power and Desalination plant. 400 Kv GIS Substation & Power plant End to End Test with National Control Center (NCC).
• Strongly recommended for site modification as per site requirements and maintenance view.
• Review and approval of Calibration and Site inspection report and testing activity don by the contractors. Following the Punch list activity and clearing the same.
• Responsible to developing the site work quality and advising designing for the site modify control systems.
• Participating in pre-commissioning and commissioning, RTR and Performance test for new projects and equipment in the plant.
• Non Confirmation report (NCR) issue and follow-up and closing after corrective action.
• Punch List Management, ECC walk down and approval of ECC.
• Managed the Electrical & Instruments erection works on Gas plants, cross country Gas & Fuel pipeline
• Reviewing project specifications, documents, drawings, data sheets & vendor manuals and identifying certifiable points related to electrical / instrumentation systems.
• Reviewing E&I & CP scope of work, drawings and executing the E&I construction activities in line with the project specifications and standards.
• Preparing E&I test / trial and commissioning procedures taking input from the project documents & vendor manuals and submitting for review & approval.
• Coordinating and driving the construction team activities, supervising the completions field staff for the E&I, CP pre-commissioning & commissioning activities and arranging the commissioning spares & consumables.
• Installation, Testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning the systems as per project requirement, Including VFD, FCMA starter For High pressure pumps & SCADA and third party inspection / class / society agencies and signing off the systems.
• Interacting & coordinating with the client, vendors & other departments and sub-contractors for the construction/completion activities. Attending progress review meetings to resolve constraints and site-conflicts.
• Administrating and deploying the field completions staff for the projects, reviewing the manpower requirement and initiating actions if required.
• Immediate response for the shut-down troubles, organize the team and permits, solve the issues, line up system as under pressure schedule like Jet fuel supply to Airport.
• Suggestion and follow up the procurement of materials, Materials Receiving inspection upon arrival.
• Supervising and control for preventive, predictive, and Reliability centered maintenance for plant equipment and critical systems.
• Planning and providing cost estimation for electrical and Instrumentation projects and procurement for projects materials.
• Over 5 years of experience in Electrical and Instruments Engineer in power and desalination plant.
• Preparation of Method statement, field quality plan (FQP & ITP) for site erection inspection, inspection report, Drawing As-Built as per site condition and submission of final documents as per client requirements.
• Supervising the Electrical & Instruments erection activity and monitor site work and improve the quality time to time in GIS Building, Gas turbine, Steam turbine, HRSG Boiler, ESF, WSF, Desalination plant, Electro Chlorination, Remine plant and common facilities.
