Managing and implementing inventory control activities to insure adequate levels of SKUs (spare parts) and other products in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy.
Inventory planning, scheduling of procurement activities & placing orders to suppliers based on suggested order quantity review of 6 months, special orders, VOR orders, seasonal parts, new model parts and other bulk products such as lubricants, batteries & car care.
RP review comparing the domestic market.
Liaising with sales, logistics, finance and ERP for operations of inventory.
Perpetual inventory check to minimize stock variance at warehouse and branches while identifying obsolete parts to be removed.
Preparing KPI and MIS reports and submission to manager within required time.
Coordinating daily warehouse operations to achieve customer service objectives by ensuring that the shipping plan was completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Create inventory & sales items, categories and locations in inventory Master data.
Working with vendors to ensure on-time delivery, POS support and website integration.
Stock adjustment and sub-inventory transfers to handle discrepancies such as shortages, excess, damages,
Warranty claims, advance billings, cannibalization, warehouse denials, etc.
Generating receiving slips after ASN and PO mismatch while calculating the landed cost based on FOB, freight and insurance expenses.
Receiving:
Accurate same day receipt of incoming materials
Physical receipt into stocking location and into our ERP system.
Personally performs, facilitate and ensures completion of incoming goods into our warehouse.
Oversees unloading of trucks for all incoming deliveries
Material storage and Inventory Control:
Responsible for the organized, safe and systematic storage of material in our warehouse
Responsible for the layout of the warehouse space - to ensure optimal efficiency of time and utilization of space
Responsible for monitoring and auditing the accuracy of our perpetual “Computer based” inventory for items in our warehouse
Responsible for creating a visual storage area for all ERP defined WIP and Finished Goods stored in our warehouse (Create a visual storage area for ongoing “key” customer inventory)
Responsible for the appropriate disposition of materials deemed to be obsolete
Facilitating the storage and shipping of scrap, accurate record keeping of weights and material types loaded out to scrap vendor and compliance to the a scrap oversight process
Ensures organization accuracy and min/max levels for “non-inventory” consumables
Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of physical counts for month-end inventory for items (Raw, WIP and Finished Goods).
Logistic Support:
Responsible for the accurate and timely pulling and staging of materials in our warehouse.
Responsible for the load-out of trucks that ship from our warehouse
General:
Housekeeping (Warehouse and grounds)
Security system use for the warehouse
Adherence to Safety Protocol
Brings awareness to direct Supervisor of potential for failures regarding facilities systems/equipment
Provides Supervisory direction to employees assigned to activities.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS • Maintenance Of I.C. Engines At Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corp. (APSRTC) This industrial training was carried out for the period of 2 months under the summer internship program wherein I learned to dismantle and assemble all the engine parts and identify faulty part and replace it with the new ones. • Detailed Study On Thermal Analysis Of A Composite Modular Wall Using Finite Element Method. This work was carried out in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the award of the bachelor of engineering. I studied the heat flow through composite wall by using various materials under different modes of heat transfer to attain human friendly atmosphere beyond the wall.
